I work at a company where I can’t print off my work schedule so I have to write it down. This is so convenient that I can write it right onto the Desk calendar if I make a mistake, all I have to do is erase and start again! Since I have a glass top desk on rolling and rolling was not an issue for me.

The first thing I noticed about this desk mat was how large, thick, and durable it is! A feature I really liked was to ability to cut it to fit my desk (see pictures). I think this desk mat will last for many years to come!It is textured on one side and my mouse still slides around and works just fine. I am one of those people who likes to eat at my desk, and despite having a texture, it was extremely easy to clean too! This mat is true to the description and has the ability to temporarily waterproof any notes I take by sliding them under the plastic.Update Time: I am one of those girlies who like to do my own nails at my desk. The other day, I spilled nail polish on it. After I cleaned it up, the nail polish remover did not discolor or melt the mat.How I rate these products:1 Star - Does not work / would cause damage in any use case2 Stars - Works but poor quality / poorly made3 Stars - Would work fine in other situations, just not mine / lacking more than one thing or has many annoying traits / this product is a decide-for-yourself type of product4 Stars - Works as described but lacks one small thing or has one small annoying trait / still a decent buy5 Stars - A perfect Item with a perfect price-to-quality ratio/ you should definitely buy! (I would also give a product that would normally get 4 Stars this if I can justify why)

I was hopeful. Unfortunately, one edge never completely unrolled--it continues to have a slight curve to it. A couple of days ago it started developing a couple of small bubbles in the interior area. Yesterday, the front edge started to raise (curl) in two places. I realize it's an inexpensive item but I still expected it to lay flat for longer than ten days. I plan to toss this item and buy a tempered glass version--more expensive but at least it will lay flat.

My main purpose for this desk mat was to use instead of a separate mouse pad but it was a little too grippy almost tacky for me and did not like the way my mouse moved over it. As just a desk mat it’s great. It makes a great surface for writing, and the clear look allows me to stick notes under it. Perfect size and easy to wipe clean.

This desk mat gets the job done! It protects my desk while giving a clean, modern look. The frosted finish prevents glare, and the size is perfect for my setup. It’s easy to clean, but curled at the edges and was hard to get it to stay in place - I had to use sticky tack.

Because this desk mat is clear, I was concerned about it reflecting light and causing a glare. However, it does have a slight texture to it to prevent that from happening. But it is not so much of a texture that it prevents you from seeing any documents or information laying underneath. You will need to flatten it since it comes rolled up but once you have it on your desk top it works really well and doesn't shift or slide. Of you plan on putting a cold drink on it, you will need a coaster or condensation will collect.
