I have had an iPhone since they first came out. Along with that, I've had many, many different cases. Several years ago, I came across this particular case. I stopped exploring options ever since and only purchase this brand/case for all my new iPhones. It's not bulky and yet provides the protection needed for drops. Believe me... I've dropped my phones many times. Obviously, you'll need to purchase a quality screen protector for complete protection, but this case literally has your phone's back. I will continue to purchase this case for all future phone purchases.

my phone is brand new and the space where the cover doesn’t protect the phone my screen protector cracked. I can see damage in the future.

I bought this case for my iPhone 16 Pro Max because of how much I liked the Otterbox Symmetry that I had on my previous phone. Protection wise, it’s great. And it’s conveniently slim making it easy to go and out of pockets. The Magsafe feature works flawlessly too. But the case’s buttons need work.The “side button” (upper right) is the worst. It seems like it doesn’t contact the phone’s button just right and I have to press it three or four times before it does what I want it to do. This is a problem because this button is arguably the most used. I have ruled out the possibility of it being the actual phone’s button as the issue is not present with three other cases I have. It’s inconvenient to the point I am considering a return. My previous Symmetry’s buttons worked perfectly.It seems the race to be the first to push these cases out the day new phones are released compromises precision in the manufacturing process. For the price, it should be better than this.

The rim around the "Ballet Shoes" case began to stain from being in my jean's pocket and from regular wear and tear after only a week or two. It looks dingy, nasty, and awful. This isn't the quality I had expected from Otterbox. I gave two stars for the expected durability of the product. I will return and ask for a different, darker color that won't show stains like this!
