My son is 2 and loves running around with this one his head because he enjoys Toy Story. He's not even 3 feet and all the slimmer end. It fits his head, the head of 8 month old, and mine. Needless to say, it fits a lot of head types without hurting or squeezing. You can't adjust the headband on your own, but it does a great job of doing that on its own. I could even see this being used as a beauty band post Halloween.
