The insertion angle of your foot is kinda steep and cannot have your ankle leaning to far back. Leaning back in a recliner with your legs stretched out in front of you will be uncomfortable. I use it from my recliner but with the massager almost against the recliner with my knees bent at about a 90 degree angle, feet straight down into the massager it can be a slice of heaven. On the highest pressure and massage setting the massage can be quite intense. Too much for my wife, but I like it. She likes it more on the low or medium setting. I crank it up to high on both massage and pressure.The remote makes it so you don't have to bend down to activate the buttons on the device itself. and the location of the buttons is pretty well laid out. Best of all this qualified for using HSA funds to purchase, which was a nice treat. My feet occasionally ache and having this to massage your feet whenever you like is nice.

This product has been a game changer. I'm on my feet most of the day and used to experience a lot of foot aching by evening. Since I started using it daily, the discomfort has significantly decreased. After several months of use, I did run into an issue, but the seller promptly replaced my unit without a hassle. Excellent customer service and a product that really works—highly recommended!

My kids got this for me for Mother’s Day. It’s so amazing! Now I can pamper myself daily. Comes with a small remote, but not really necessary. Easy to operate. Definitely should wear socks with this, but have zip out liners to launder (I will hand wash and air dry when needed.)

This foot massager is the third I have bought, and the second I bought from Bolo. Most foot massagers — including the first I owned — have a big problem: they do not massage the heel areas, (i.e., the posterior support regions of the feet.) I chose this foot massager because it is one of the few models that massage heels. Unfortunately, out of the three foot massagers I have owned, it overall gave the least satisfying massages. Here are some of its problems.This foot massage has only one massage mode. My previous two foot massagers (which were cheaper) had multiple massage modes.Even at the highest intensity settings for knead + air compression, this foot massager is "overall" not intense enough for me. Let me clarify why I use "overall": at the highest knead + highest air compression settings, this massager gives a very intense massage in the medial plantar regions; (which is fine because I like to feel some pains for my massages.) However, all other regions are not intense enough. Even at the highest settings, I do not feel a lot of pressure in the other regions on my feet. So, overall, the massages are unsatisfying for me (even at the highest setting, which is barely okay.)Which brings me to the next problem: this foot massager does not allow me to save settings. As I mentioned, anything less than the highest knead + air intensity setting is just not satisfying. Whenever I turn on this foot massager, it starts up at the lowest settings at default. So, every time I have to change through the settings from low to then medium to finally high, for both knead and air pressures. With my previous foot massagers, I did not have the same problem — because I used more than one setting (and massage mode) with them. With this foot massager, however, I use one and only one particular set of settings, (i.e., the highest knead intensity + highest air compression intensity;) I do not use any other setting because everything else is not intense enough or satisfying for me. I wish this machine would let me save the highest settings so I do not have to adjust and cycle through the knead + air intensity settings every time I turn it on.Finally, when this foot massage is off and in standby, its power button keeps blinking and flashing a red light. I put this foot massager in my bedroom. When I go to bed, I turn off all the light in my bedroom. I can see the blinking red light flashing non-stop from this massager when I am trying to sleep, which is annoying. I have to unplug this massager to stop its power light.Notes: As I have been using foot massagers regularly for years, I have gotten used to very intense foot massages. I can tolerate a lot of pains from foot massages, and I enjoy mild pains during massages. For me, anything less is not a real foot massage; it's just a foot rub. So, while this foot massager does not deliver enough intensity and pains for me, it may actually be too intense and painful for people who are not used to foot massages.My point is: if you enjoy and are looking for very intense foot massages, this is NOT the machine for you.

The quality seems to be good. My feet are size 7 women. I have to shove them all the way to the front of the machine where my ankle / shin butts up against the foot opening on top in order for the kneading to position on my arch. the modes are to a like to distinguish them, but the message is strong; the air compression is too. Not nearly as functionally sound and strong as my original one made by Homedics. I use it a couple time a week and will continue to :)

I'll admit that i have never used any automated foot massager before. This is my first one. It has left a good impression. My foot size is 41 and my feet are kind of flat. I use kneading to LOW and air intensity to High. I usually get foot pain and would ask my wife to give me a foot massage. But this can allow my wife to rest. My wife has small feet. She used air intensity to High and Kneading to High as well. She was so relaxed after using it. I would recommend it. I bought the remote one. The remote is useful and you don't have to bend down to select different modes on the touch controls.*update* After the use of almost 10 days, I'm deciding to return it. It did feel good on the first use. Later on i started feeling pain under my foot. My veins under the feet started hurting. I used it 4 times in total, and i decided to return it.

Ergonomic Design Even More Effective Than Traditional Massage
Personally, I never knew technology could do so much to improve the at-home foot massager field but this one from Renpho has really surprised me.The air compression is the key thing that differentiates this from other foot massagers - it feels like your feet are being hugged or gripped tightly and this enables it to hit your pressure points so effectively.It is an unusual sensation at first but it gets addictive!There are 4 main features starting with a timer which allows a 15 or 30-minute massage interval.The second adjustable feature is the knead intensity, now this works in tandem with the air intensity to give you a varying intensity of massage. It really does change the type of massage you get depending on how you set the knead and air intensity features together. It varies from low, medium or high knead intensity & if the air intensity it up high, it will definitely feel more forceful. After trying it for several days in a row, I had to adjust it down as my feet were feeling more sensitive & it was still great.As mentioned, air intensity can be adjusted, high, medium & low. This will dictate how 'gripped' your feet will feel & this may not appeal to everyone but it is the star feature for me.You can have the heat setting turned on or off which is great for me, having cold feet.It comes with a remote control but the massager itself has a touch screen so you can set it really easily - a nice little touch which makes it feel more advanced.You can unzip the pockets in the footwell & wash them, which is a great idea you wouldn't necessarily have known you wanted.Only downsides I've seen mentioned is it being described as noisy but it doesn't disturb me at all, I didn't really think about it - but if you want to have a calming vibe while you're having a foot massage it might be worth thinking about. Other than that, perhaps the size might be awkward to store or bring in & out as needed but not a concern for me.I definitely believe the claims that it activates joints, eases tired feet & improves blood circulation that it states on the box.Really can't see how another foot massager can beat this, a fantastic product.
