Just what I needed, holds my phone on the treadmill. It’s sturdy the metal under the rubber is great. It holds in place. Would by again.

I was hoping to use this on a bicycle so I can have a little bit of an extension and not just clip it to the forward grip.After trying it out 3 times on bumpy trails. It's really not something for me. I just felt like I had to constantly adjust it and my phone.I tried as best as I could to adjust the main body and mold it around the handle bar but it doesn't really grip, it just sort of hovers.I think it's supposed to work best If you wrap it around a bar a few times and basically, yes, use it like a clip, but that's not what I was looking for, myself. Also I don't think it's supposed to be used on a bike on a gravelly terrain, where it's jumping up-and-down consistently.I think it's cool that it seems that it can attach to a lightstand, probably for video recording, and will try to use it for that.Otherwise, it does extend nicely to be a selfie stick and as I mentioned before it does have a port for attaching it to a a light stand. It comes with 2 holders, one that is curved towards you and 1 that is straight on.It's a cool idea for a product because of the flexibility. I still wonder what it's gonna to be like after having it in the rain tho'.Not a bad product, but wasn't what I was looking for initially, i'm just gonna use it for something else.

I picked the phone holder out because it solves a few problems I have with video conference calling for work and roaming around outdoors. When used with a typical smart phone the twistable selfie stick can latch onto almost anything (image 6) including my hand for easier carrying (image 7). The arm itself is sturdy when twisted into position and has a rubbery tube coating that allows it to stay in place when wrapped tight (image 6 right-most images). I plan to use this wrapped around a stationary bike's handle bars when video calling from the gym.I have a Samsung Fold 3 (Image 3 and 4 in green) that has multiple phone screens so it's as thick and as heavy as 2 normal smartphones. I also have an older samsung phone that's typical of what most people use (Images 3 and 4 silver). The Fold 3 has a double-wide rounded edge that kinda works but has a tendency to slip out of mount when I move around so it's only good for static positioning which is fine with me. The vendor does warn that the set of typical phones that are known to work well are all much lighter than the Samsung Fold series of monster phones so not holding this against the vendor. These issues are common with lots of mounts and holders with a phone like this.I also have a smaller samsung that is gripped so tight that it ain't going anywhere no matter how how much I turn or walk around. In image 5 I gave it a kind of reach-out test where the stick is held out horizontally at max extension and it passed the test by staying solid no problem.From my first 3 uses out and about the phone holder is very sturdy, has a good balance of ease of twisting, reshaping but doesn't bend out of shape under the weight of a normal phone moving around. Not sure how they found that sweet spot but they did. Oh and the stick comes with two ball mounts 1) straight up and 2) with a right angle. The right angle appears to be geared toward people who are using the face camera in selfie mode with the screen facing the user. The straight ball mount appears to be for people who are using the back-side camera (with the grip covering some of the screen?) to take landscape and tourism photos. That's just the way that seems natural to me but there's no mention of set ways to do things.Overall this phone holder / selfie stick is very light weight and pliable so great for taking on a trip and twisting it up to fit into small spaces like carry-on bags. The price is really good for the number of uses so I'm happy with it.

I'm a professional video producer, and now that I have the iPhone 15 Pro, I've been tempted to do some simple video work with it. My main camera is a Sony A7iv, so I ordered this flexible phone holder to give me options for incorporating the iPhone into my professional work as a second camera.Last week I had to shoot three documentary-style interviews for a project. For the first two, I set up my Sony as the "A" camera, and put the iPhone on a smaller tripod next to it for the wide shot. But the third interview was outdoors, with less room to set up. So I pulled out the flexible phone holder and wrapped it around the neck of my big tripod so the phone would be at a slightly different angle for the wide shot. It worked well and I got my shot.I'm not entirely convinced the quality of the iPhone footage will be able to cut in with my beautiful Sony footage, but it's good to have that second angle if I need it.The flexible arm has a 1/4-20 bolt on the smaller end, where you can attach the phone holder or any other gadget you need. The larger end has a female 1/4-20 threaded hole, for mounting to another object or platform. I'd like to figure out a way to use that to connect more solidly to my tripod, since just wrapping it around wasn't 100% secure for a long interview. But I love the versatility of this arm, and it's small enough that I can toss it in my lighting case for when I need it. Could be good for rigging up a small LED backlight sometime when I don't want a light stand in the shot.

I can't figure out how to assemble it to hold my phone. I wish the manufacturer would post a video on how to do it for those of us who are not so mechanically inclined. If anyone has a video of how to put this thing together I would greatly appreciate it being shared. Thank you

Described as advertised so it works for what I needed it! It's pretty stable holding my phone and decently flexible. I needed this to hold my phone in some odd places while I work on sculptures so it worked great for what I needed it for! I also use it as a stand on it's own and it works great so I feel like it's pretty versatile!
