I opened up the package and thought, “Uh, oh.” I bought a rubber mallet, which I didn’t actually need, but that’s ok. I googled how to use cam locks, because I had no idea what they were or how to use them. Basically, you put in the screw where there’s an open circle below it on its side which fits the circular metal object that you also screw in. I don’t assemble things that often, (it’s been a long time since wood shop) but it was fairly easy to assemble. Be patient. It took me half a day. When it came time to put the hinges in to attach the doors, I used a styrofoam piece from the shipping box and a book to prop it up. I put it together by myself, so holding it up was challenging. I also chose the red color. The choices were: Red, white, or gray. I thought realistically to choose gray, then I thought about it. I said to myself, “You know what? If red makes you happy, then get what you want.” I did. It’s a beautiful chestnut red. I’m very pleased with the result and the fact that I accomplished putting it together without any help. I’ve put other items together that I had to take apart, because I put it on backwards the first time. This was not the case with this cabinet. Everything was clearly marked, but again, be patient.

The quality is average but it does the job. The machining of the parts is reasonable but things are not as precise as they could be; not that it doesn’t assemble okay, but that things are slightly out of alignment when they do. Many people would not notice but as a carpenter it is like a sore point with me.There are little things like the screws to fit the backing panel are countersunk but the holes are not. If they provided round head screws it would be perfect. Likewise the screws for the hinges are countersunk as they should be, but the do not sit flush in the hinges (does not impede performance).I would not recommend using their stabilization method. I fortunately had a couple of small right angle brackets that I could use and when screwed to studs in the wall, the cupboard is now rock solid. I can’t imagine how a couple of zip ties would provide the necessary stability. No way you could use this without fixing it to the wall once it is loaded with goods.The most annoying thing to me is the imprecision of the pre drilled holes for the door hinges. They are not accurate mirror image and so in my case, one door is slightly higher than the other. Like I said might not bother most people.The instructions are adequate but pay attention. Being able to visualize the finished product will help. If you have experience with IKEA furniture or other assembly kits you will be fine.Although the instructions make no mention of it, please use wood glue in all the mating surfaces/joins. Especially for the wooden dowels and the backboard but really, everywhere. Wood glue cleans up with damp paper towel or napkin so you cannot get into trouble.Overall it is good pantry cupboard for the low price. Take your time, consider the tips above and you will most likely be happy with the outcome.

This looks identical to the pictures! It is so pretty and functional. I use it for my groceries and it holds a lot more than I thought it could!It's easy to put together just a little time consuming. The magnets that hold the doors closed are very strong so I definitely recommend using the wall mount it comes when so you don't yank it over opening the doors. 😂

After a lot of searching for a pantry, I ordered this one without reading as many of the reviews as I should have - that part is on me.The materials, fit and finish of the pantry and it's sturdiness after assembly are definitely not worth the $140 price it was at when I bought it. Objectively speaking, this pantry should be at about the $60 mark.I have no problem with assembling furniture or things like this pantry, so overall it wasn't very difficult as much as it was just time consuming. You're going to burn a lot of time putting it together considering the sheer number of parts it has.I noticed the chemical smell from when I opened the box but brushed it off as the packaging material. I had gotten as far as having it nearly finished with only the assembled doors left to put on when my wife came into the room and noticed the chemical smell right away. She said it was strong so I'm guessing I got used to it because while I could still smell it, it was more faint to me at that point.She had only been in the room for about 5-10 minutes and she immediately had a headache and had trouble breathing. While I moved the pantry and packaging to the garage, she scanned the reviews again and found one mentioning formaldehyde. With it out of the house, the chemical smell quickly went away.Going into the garage the next morning, the chemical smell was strong as hell. While I was disassembling and repackaging it to return to Bolo, I noticed the marking on the shipping box about formaldehyde. If I had noticed it the day before, I would have saved myself about three hours and my wife from getting sick.I would definitely steer clear of this particular pantry - it's not worth it for many reasons.

I got this cause I live in an apartment and our cabinet space is almost non existent. I thought this would help, and it does but not to the extent I wanted. It’s definitely smaller than I thought and doesn’t hold everything I want. You also have to play around to get the shelves the way you need them and even then there’s still a lot of stuff that wouldn’t fit. The doors themselves also don’t hold as many cans as I thought they would be able to. I can fit about 4 to a shelf and sometimes I gotta really squish them in.Building this also took a few hours and I followed the instructions correctly and the unit feels wobbly. The other day I even went to open it up and a screw fell out. I went back in and had to retightened everything. I don’t know how long this will actually hold up in the long run.Overall, it’s a decent piece for the price.

Missing pieces!!! Very frustrating!!!
Soooooo angry and frustrated!!!Spent LOTS of time putting this cabinet together. It looked nice and then.... we got to Step 17!!!Item H - there were only 12 of the little end pieces that you need to insert into the holes on either end of the rods that go across each shelf. There are 6 shelves on each door, so 12 poles all together. That means that 24 end pieces are needed...not 12. Easy math yet somehow this has been overlooked and from the comments I see, this has happened before too.Fix this issue!!!! Until this happens, don't waste your time or money. $200 for a cabinet that has lots of missing pieces? To me, not worth the time or money!!! Save yours and buy elsewhere!
