I really like this set of shades.The larger of the two shades are more transparent than the other ones. The shades have a sturdy outer border with a wire that gives them their shape. To install, just unfold and slap them against the window with the plastic side toward the glass. The shades adhere by static cling, so they don't leave a sticky residue or anything, and you don't have to keep up with suction cups or hooks that never work. You can place these anywhere on the glass, and they are skinny enough that you can even tuck the edge into the window slot in the door.These are great for a side window, they are just the right size for that. Two of the larger shades will NOT cover an entire windshield, but if you are in a pinch and parked somewhere for a bit, these do give a lot of shade. (We are using them for privacy during lunch breaks in the car)The only drawback on this set is that to stow them in the provided storage bag, you have to twist them onto itself in order to make a small circle. The issue is that the vinyl portion of the shades is so clingy that the material will not slide over itself in order to properly collapse and form a circle. This is easily fixed by taking both shades of the same size and putting them together with the vinyl sides in, and then folding them both up together.Overall, I think this is a good design and quality and will definitely come in handy.

These are a good value; for the price you get a pair of semi transparent ones and a pair of more shaded ones.Really like them, they do block the sun and protect my son. No suction cups (which are usually a weak point on these window covers). However they are a bit awkward in how they fit into my windows (Ford Escape).I keep two in my son’s window to block as much as I can, plus one on the other back seat window, and one on the front passenger window. Can still see through them for driving purposes (except the doubled up area which is too obscured).If my special needs 4 year old son is annoyed enough, he can pull one out and whack you with it.Overall, happy - 4 stars! A bit better fit would’ve made this a 5 star product for me! However, as with universal fit items, a perfect fit can’t be expected. I still hoped for better with a fairly small and common SUV.
