I was expecting the typical dense, chewy consistency of other energy/protein bars I've tried, but that's the situation here. These are much less dense, and packed with small bits of peanut, so they have a slightly crunchy, lighter consistency. Once I got past my preconceived notions of what to expect, I really enjoyed the consistency - although different, I do prefer the consistency of these over other energy/protein bars.The flavor is very good, but all peanut. The cocoa drizzle on top is enough to get chocolate on your fingers, but not enough to actually add any chocolate flavor/taste. I do wish the chocolate was more prominent (i.e. detectable), or that it was just omitted, but that may just be me.Each bar is 270 calories, with 12g of protein and 8g of sugar. The batch I received has a best by date about 11 months out from when I ordered them. They come to $1.75/bar (based on the price at the time of this review), which in my experience is within the range of prices for comparable items.

My entire family enjoyed the taste of these bars. The pack of 12 is a great value for energy bars. I like that these bars are lower in sugar, and high is protein with some fiber. The bars were moist and the quality was fresh. I would recommend these bars for peanut butter lovers.

PB fits powder shines in the fact that the protein content is so great per calorie. It's essentially it's own type of protein powder with a great flavor you can add to any old protein shake to give it that peanut butter boost in flavor without sacrificing protein per calorie.These bars kind of do the opposite. So the PB fit label kind of confuses me because the whole selling point for the powder that exploded this company to popularity is kind of lost in here. 12 grams of protein for 270 calories is... well it's not that great. The fat content is also extremely high.. which means that it does taste pretty great, but that's basically because this is just an energy bar without any of the benefits the company is known for. I'm only knocking off a star for this because it does taste great and it's definitely not the worst thing for you, but i don't think i can recommend these over other options on the market which are more carb loaded rather than fat loaded.

These PBfit Peanut Butter Cocoa Drizzle Energy Bar to me was a great first go for me into this type of bar. Upon first bite, you taste a hint of peanut butter flavor along with some of the chocolate drizzle and nuts/seeds. There’s no overpowering flavor, it’s just basically what you’d expect from the ingredients. The bar was chewy, so I’d recommend having some water with it. The bars have 12g of plant based protein, but they aren’t sold to be protein bars, so that’s a respectable amount.. They do however have 270 calories and 29 grams of carbs which seems to be a little high. Overall, I think these are great to bring for outdoor activities, having in an emergency kit, or for extra energy throughout the day.

So this is an okay option, sure it is 12 G of protein but at 270 calories it is closer to a meal bar than protein bar. Bobs Red Mill has a regular bar that tastes very similar (nothing a protein bar) but has half the calories. If you're trying to get more protein, and this bar helps you, okay, but if you are looking for a healthier bar, there are better (and lower cal) options.

Not as good as I thought they would be. I thought they would be more peanut buttery, but they're not and they're kinda dry, but it's protein so I can't complain too much.

These are where it's at. This is one of the nicest meal bars I've eaten. The peanut flavor isn't overwhelming, the texture is varied, the chocolate drizzle is just perfect. They are not overly sweetened, and the size is satisfying. There's no funky protein taste, and there's absolutely zero bad ingredients. Bravo, these are just perfect.These are made only of real stuff. They are not supplement bars, they are not "protein" bars. They just happen to have 12 grams of protein in them from the real stuff they are made of. They are not trying to taste like something, they just DO because they ARE. I can't say enough good things about them, they are exactly what they should be. I will be ordering more and trying other flavors. I replaced two meals with two of these bars in a particularly busy day during a historic ice storm where we had no power for a week and felt great. I highly doubt that would have been true of lesser food bars.

These taste okay, almost stale? I don't know any other way to really describe it properly. They are packed with nutrients and are great to start the day; however, the taste isn't great.
