Its the best screen my eyes have ever laid eyes upon in person. You gotta see it in person to really understand how incredible this TV is. I am using it as a monitor for gaming and movies on the side and every time I am stunned by the beauty of this screen. Samsung knocked it out of the park and for $1200 for the 42 inch It is the best money I have ever spent on peripheral technology.

This is an awesome display. The screen is super thin, like the same thickness as my laptop screen. However it does have a bit of a bumpout for the speaker and AV connections. It's so thin that it comes with instructions on where to pick it up and not pick it up. Because of the size, you'll probably want a second pair of hands to avoid accidentally damaging the display. It's not heavy at all (less than 25 lbs).This screen includes a ton of "smart" functionality, including a smarthings hub. I'll be honest in that I'm not a fan of Samsung's Smarthings home automation. I used to have one of their hubs and I found it to be too restrictive and cloud dependent. I personally would recommend Hubitat over the smartthings hubs as it runs locally and will work even if the internet is down.Setup of this display was probably the most frustrating thing here. Upon powering on the device, it directs you to scan a QR code and use the Samsung app to setup. This is where I deducted a point (and almost two). This was the most frustrating setup I've experienced in a very long time. The tldr is the app didn't work, seemed to freeze up and just kept giving me a spinning wait circle. I decided to wait it out and eventually chugged through all the steps (which took over an hour) and then it failed at the end. I gave up and set up the TV manually through the remote, which was also frustrating. Samsung needs to do better at this. It was a seriously bad experience. I suspect the issue here is the security protection my firewall and/or PiHole.Another issue I ran into is using the HDMI connection with my Macbook. I couldn't get the audio over HDMi to work at all. The TV does support airplay but that's besides the point, I wanted to use HDMI and audio and I couldn't find a way to make this work at all. Might be the cable but I don't have another one handy to try. I need to order one and will update if that was the issue.Display quality is brilliant. It's bright and the colors don't get washed out in the light. I plan to use this as a secondary display on my desktop. The 48" display weights under 25 lbs w/o the stand. If you have a high quality monitor stand, you can actually mount it on a monitor arm. Note the connection here is 200x300, so you probably will need a vesa mount adapter.Despite the setup frustration, I would endorse this display. The super thinness of it is really cool.

GORGEOUS TV!! Very bright for a QD-OLED. Colors are super vibrant. Love the glossy screen compared to the Matte Black on the S95F. This is my first OLED TV and it does NOT disappoint. Setup was super easy. I have no idea how the sound quality is on the TV because I use a surround sound. I am gonna guess it’s a hit or miss. Depends on what people like. It was heavy. Needed another person to help me carry the weight of the TV. And the TV is an expensive one but it’s all worth it for what you get. Beautiful picture, infinite contrast. Everything about it is a 10/10 for me!
