It seems pretty sturdy, and it's a good size.There are a few little issues with it, but these are relatively minor. The metal parts for instance do not sit completely flush, so if you run your hand along them, the part that is joined sticks out a bit.One thing to note, assemble this in the daytime. The screws that go into the wood are not pointed at the end and make a TON of squeaking noise when you get to the end of one. I would not recommend assembling in the middle of the night. It was relatively easy to put together other than that. When you put the middle bar in on each side, just make sure they match up lengthwise as well. That is one of two ways you can mess up assembly, the other being putting the basket holders on.It's a good addition to my media setup, and the instructions were quite good too.

I didn’t have any of the issues that some other reviewers had other than slight difficulty assembling. Mine came packaged very well with everything shrink wrapped and taped securely. Slight blemishes in the paint on some of the legs, but hardly noticeable unless you’re staring directly at it.Assembling this by myself was the only minor issue I had. If you have someone to help you, it would be a breeze. The hardest part is lining up the holes of the legs, the basket rails, and the shelf all at the same time while holding everything up and in place while you fit the screws in. That took the most time and some serious finesse to accomplish, but it’s possible.Also, all of the fasteners are supposed to be hex screws, but mine came with one Phillips screw for some reason. Still the same size I needed and it worked fine, just thought that was odd.Overall, the shelf is solid and stable, and looks great.

Pros: multi-functional can be used for more than just media, I am using it in my bedroom for holding folded clothes. Is super simple to put together. It’s the perfect size for nooks and small spaces in your home or apartment. The drawers work well and are very convenient. Once you have all the bolts tight it’s a pretty solid and sturdy piece of furniture. It’s not heavy, I’m a weakling, haha, and I can carry it from room to room.Cons: though it was incredibly simple to put together it was a hassle. It kind of irritated me, but that’s a me problem. The odd thing is that when I was done I was left with 4 extra screws but no empty holes or areas to put them in. The only other thing is that it looks kind of cheap.Overall, the function outweighs any small negatives I could point out.

Arrived with scratched metal tubes. Seems like the one I got was a return that was rewrapped and sent to me. Disappointed this was a gift.

Assembling this is NOT for beginners because the instructions are vague and nothing was labeled. It took a lot of figuring things out to put this together. I appreciate that it came with some extra screws and 2 wrenches.Once, it is assembled, I have found it a all in one computer desk, table, and storage solution. I like that I can go from one activity to another and not having to ask myself how I am going to clear the table. The space is big enough to fit my 13" laptop and I can use the shelf right under it to move my mouse around and take notes on a small notebook.Tips for installation:• Pay very close attention to which way the middle bars and rack holder are facing before fully screwing it down.• If you are not the most mechanically inclined, get some helpMy reviews are based on my experiences with the product, not on my status as a Viner. This is a well made stereo or whatever cabinet. Steel rails with beautiful wooden rustic wooden shelves. Not those cheap fiber board shelves. This is a perfect size approx. 37x18 and can be used anywhere in the house. Ease of assembly? I'm 75 years old female with a torn shoulder and I finally figured it out. The directions that came with it is in pictures. All hardware comes with unit and a little wrench. I also bought the one with 2 baskets. They fit so secure and once you put them in you can't really see what's in the basket. I'm going to buy one in black for my son to keep all his computer stuff off the floor. This is an excellent buy for such a quality product that I'm sure will last a lifetime.

This works great if you have a couple boxes/game systems/receivers that you need to connect to your AV setup. It was easy to put together, looks nice, and seems pretty sturdy. You can use it for just about anything but it does the intended job quite well.
4.0 out of 5 stars I'm considering getting rid of my original Kenwood stereo cabinet from the '80s.
It's getting old, and I no longer have the casette recorder, or equalizer. But I do have the Amp, the tuner (I'd get rid of that if I could, but it's the main componany) and the CD changer. Plus a turntable and a DVD player, and all that goes with that. I haven't decided yet. This one is cheap-looking, probably not as noticeable once it's loaded up with components. I have so many things, and got rid of all but one bookshelf, so I'll be needing as many shelving units as I can afford, once I get to my new home. This has enough shelves for my stereo equipment if I do need it for that, and could also hold some of my DVDs, books, or a number of other things
