Let's get the obvious part out of the way. This ramen isn't winning any awards for taste or texture next to a high-carb gourmet ramen with 600 calories and its own oil packet. The noodles are oddly springy and the flavor is a bit bland. But I was still pleasantly surprised. It's tasty enough compared to the cheaper side of 'real' ramen, and the macros are ridiculous.At 200 calories and 32g protein, this ramen has better macros than most protein bars. Between the volume of noodles and the broth it's also more filling than a protein bar. If you're looking for a convenient low-calorie and high-protein meal you can keep on a shelf and make in minutes – especially if you're plant-based – you'd be hard pressed to find too much better than this.Maybe give it a pass if you have texture issues, but otherwise I'd give it a shot!

Texture is pretty good but taste is bland - so if you like salt, be sure to add your own seasoning. You cannot beat the macros though! Expensive for ramen, but normal priced since deemed “protein”.

So I’m trying to eat healthier, so I decided to try this lower-carb ramen since I love ramen so much. One of the things I love is purchasing different flavored Japanese gourmet ramen, but they do have a lot of carbs in them and some even high in sodium. So I heard a lot about this one and tried it. I literally had to throw it away after eating one pack. The flavor was horrible. Very bland. The texture of the noodles was just, how do I put it, weird. I tried to soldier through the first pack, but couldn’t make it. I had to throw it out and then eventually throughout the whole package, it was honestly a waste of $30. Not to mention the packages are really small, so the value was actually pretty bad. Also, definitely will not buy ever again.

These are a perfect, quick and high protein meal hack! I eat these at least 3-4 times a week now and add a couple scrambled eggs or some chicken poached in the broth to really capitalize on the protein density of my meals without them being heavy. The biggest flex these provide is they are made with COMPLETE proteins as shown on the label where the 32g protein = 64% of the FDA’s Daily Value % (based on a 50g daily value).Biggest cooking instruction recommendation is to bring water to a boil in a covered pot first with the seasoning/freeze dried chive and carrot packets mixed in already ( I add addtl seasoning for preference) and then drop the noodles in once it comes to a boil, re-cover and let SIMMER for about 5-7 min dependent on desired textured. I like them in the middle with a little bite but softer like normal ramen noodles. I will likely be buying these for the rest of my life because of how good a value these are between price, macros, and flavor options.

These taste very bland. It’s nice to know that I’m getting more protein, but I might use the flavor packets from regular ramen with them. I like that the dried vegetables are in a separate package so you can decide how much to use.

I was looking for a high protein ramen option. VOLO VERO High Protein Ramen was a great find.We tried the chicken flavor and shared the packet. My husband thought it was spot on and really enjoyed it. I have a slightly more particular palate, and while the texture was just a bit different from traditional ramen, it was still satisfying. It might have been the way I cooked it, so I’m looking forward to trying it again.Definitely a bit on the pricey side, but that’s often the case when you’re buying a healthier version of the comfort food you love. I would absolutely buy it again and recommend it to anyone looking for a better-for-you ramen option.

I really wanted to like this, but there was just no flavor, even with the flavor packet added. I had to add soy sauce and other ingredients to give it flavor. Even though I had read that the noodles were cheerier than most people liked, it still came as a surprise.
