4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Head Unit With Nice Screen & Installation Challenges
It took awhile to figure out how I was going to install this 10.1" single DIN head unit in my 2004 Corvette. The Metra kit I used to install it requires the use of a DIN sleeve, which most radios come with, but this unit does not have, although the housing is set up to accept one. I contacted the seller regarding this and they said I'd have to buy my own. Fortunately, I already had one. The other issue I had is this large screen is not removable which makes installation around a bezel with a small, single DIN opening very tricky. Again, the DIN sleeve I had worked out for me because it securely holds the radio without actually locking in place (like it's supposed to) so I was able to install the dash bezel and then slide the radio into the dash. The radio touch screen is bright, clear, and very responsive. The system boots up very quickly and connects to my Pixel 8 and wireless Android Auto connects almost immediately. During the month I've had the radio installed, I've experienced one random reboot where the system just crashed and rebooted. This hasn't happened again. Sound quality is pretty good although there is a faint feedback buzzing noise that is audible during complete silence (not driving, playing music, etc). Not sure if it's the radio or the Axxess interface that's installed along with the radio that enables keeping the factory Bose sound system. The DSP options offer a LOT of adjustments. The 30 band graphic equalizer allows for great sound customization and I've been able to dial the sound in pretty well. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this head unit. If you can work around the installation challenges, this could also be a good option for you.

I’ve been using the Wireless 10.1" Single Din Car Stereo CarPlay Radio for a little while now. Overall, it’s a decent product for the price, but there are definitely some compromises. Sound quality is pretty good for a budget unit, clear enough for everyday use. Volume control works fine, and Bluetooth connectivity pairs without too much hassle. I also get decent radio reception, which was a nice surprise. However, the screen responsiveness is a bit slow, and it takes a moment to register touches. The brightness is okay during the day but could be better in direct sunlight.The build quality feels basic but not too flimsy. One of the bigger drawbacks is the limited adjustability. The screen can move slightly up and down, but not side to side, which means it blocks some of my van’s controls once installed. Also, it doesn’t come with a remote, which would’ve been really helpful. In short, it works, but it’s not perfect. If you’re looking for something simple and affordable, this might do just know what you’re getting.

I encourage everyone to always read the negative reviews before giving them any value. What you will find more often than not is that they are user error. Case in point we have a gentlemen that gave this unit 3 stars because he said the screen is fixed and can't go up and down, when in fact it can go up and down. Further, he should have considered his dash layout BEFORE ordering this unit. Who's fault is that?Anyway, this thing is huge. It has a big gorgeous screen that looks great. However this big old screen is being installed in a tiny stereo slot. So, you should absolutely consider the things that immediately surround that stereo slot. Sure, a big screen is very tempting but not if it blocks key features of the car like heater controls, etc. Also, if you intend for it to block vents, make sure they are closed. Hot air blasting against the back of this thing is a sure way to cause premature failure. Lastly, you may need a vehicle specific dash kit and wiring harness to make installation as simple and straightforward as possible.That said, let's actually talk about the unit. It is an absolutely great way to add modern infotainment features to an older car. You can literally bring your driving experience up to modern day with this one very affordable device. The sound quality is pretty good with just the internal amplifier and can be even better when using the line outputs to feed an external amplifier. It has both left/righ and subwoofer outputs as well as a DSP with EQ to really dial it in to your liking. In my testing the unit booted fast and resumed connectivity quickly, picking up right where I left off in the song. You can control most features via voice when using Android Auto or Carplay, including responding to text messages that it will read to you. It's a truly great experience.

This screen is HUGE! Which makes seeing things at a glance pretty easy, so long as you know where on the screen you need to look. The functionality and response is also flawless so far. I have this in an old foreign van and it is just perfect. Lucky for me the radio slot in the van is down low so this entire screen is in front of the dash. That being said, the screen does cover access to the climate controls. This doesn't matter to me as I don't have A/C anyway and just use the windows for ventilation. However it is certainly something for anyone else to consider.I was attacted to this screen specifically because of its size. It is hard to see out the back of my vehicle and I wanted to have a clear view. The backup camera (which was a super simple install) made easy work of enhancing visibility.Bluetooth connection to my phone was quick and simple. Now my 40-year-old vehicle has navigation for my road trips. I also like to listen to audio books while traveling and now I get to listen through the van's speakers.All and all I am really impressed and would get this again.
