I can’t detect the rose at all, but “fresh” and “woody” describe the fragrance well, I think.The ingredients are listed on the packaging, as follows: Alcohol Denat., Aqua/Water/Eau, Parfum/Fragrance, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Tetramethyl, Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, Triethyl Citrate, Ethylhyxylglycerin, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Peel Oil, Vanillin, Pogostemon Cablin Oil, Acetyl Cedrene, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalyl Acetate, Hexamethylindanopyran, Limonene, Juniperus Virginiana Oil, Linalool, Coumarin, Lavandula Oil/Extract, Pinene Citronellol, Beta-Caryophyllene, Eugenol, Amyl Salicylate, Cedrus Atlantica Oil/Extract, Menthol, Camphor, Terpineol, Tocopherol.There are a couple of ingredients in the list that can occasionally cause skin irritation, but they’re not on any list of unsafe/high-risk ingredients. I have sensitive skin, and have had bad reactions to some products in the past, so I always like to check these things, and test the product on a small area of skin first. This deodorant hasn’t caused any irritation to my skin at all.It's important to note that this is a deodorant spray, not an antiperspirant. It does nothing at all to stop sweating, and it isn’t designed to. However, it does smell good, and it’s nice to spray on after a shower. I suppose it could also work to mask unpleasant sweat smells too, if you needed to be around people shortly after a work-out, or on a hot day. The smell is definitely a traditionally masculine fragrance, although any person who enjoys woody fragrances would probably appreciate this. Personally, I prefer the Cool Water fragrance, but this is nice too.The current price for this product is $44, which reflects the quality of the brand, I think. This isn’t cheap deodorant, but the fragrance lasts longer than some (definitely several hours), and it doesn’t smell like cheap deodorant. It’s a quality product.

This deodorant caught me off guard in the best way. The scent is layered and refined, fresh up front then shifts into a deeper woody vibe with just a trace of floral. The oud and rose come through without being too heavy and the lavandin gives it a clean finish. It’s the kind of scent you’d expect from a designer cologne not something you swipe on after a shower.Longevity is solid. I applied it in the morning and still caught a hint of it late into the evening even after being out and about. It goes on smooth with no sticky feel or residue and hasn’t irritated my skin at all. For the price you’re getting a product that punches way above its weight in both quality and presentation. If you’re looking for something elevated that doesn’t break the bank this is a great pickup (great value!)

I'm a woman who enjoys wearing unisex scents on occasion. This deodorant spray has a very fresh, juicy aroma, with that aftershave-esque undertone of typical men's cologne. I don't smell rose at all, but I do get lavender and fruit, particularly pineapple, over a spicy sage-like base. The scent lasts several hours when I spray it under my arms, and is present but not overpowering. As far as its deodorant powers, I'd rate it on a par with my natural crystal deodorant - it's not super-duper effective, but it works well enough with a couple reapplications throughout the day to keep me from reeking. This is a very pleasant aromatic spray for a man (or a woman who's unafraid of masculine-leaning floral scents.)

The Cool Elixir Natural Deodorant Spray comes in a 5 ounce can and has such a light, powdery clean, fresh scent that lasts all day and into the evening. Has the average spray pump making it easy to depress and evenly aim at whichever body part or for a full body spray. No white cast whatsoever, not on the body nor on the clothing!Great for layering with other Cool Elixir products or without. Overall, an effective spray deodorant that last throughout the day.

It has a great smell. It’s similar to their original Cool Water, but has a slight fruity/powdered smell added to it. I really love the smell to it. It’s also a pretty big bottle, so it should last for at least a couple of months. It’s a metal container and mine came with a small dent. It was fine because it was for myself, but that’s something to keep in mind if you are gifting this.The only issue is the scent won’t last an entire work day. It starts wearing off after a few hours. So, you will still need cologne and another deodorant with it. It will make a nice addition to those though.

I really like the scent of this deodorant. It has a fresh sandelwood type of scent that last all day and is strong but not too much or overwhelming in any way.It works great as a replacement for cologne and is great for the office where smells can be too strong in the confined space.

My son has been loving this as a deodorant and a body spray. It smells really good. It's a masculine scent. None of the notes really stand out from the rest, but it smells high-end and really fresh. I also like the nozzle. It mists out rather than sprays. It sprays more like a cologne than a deodorant. This bottle contains 5 fluid ounces so it should last quiet a while.

My husband has been wearing this for the last few days and this morning he walked by and my instant thought was, “man he smells good!” This stuff smells great and lasts throughout the day. It holds up even in the warm summer weather we’ve been experiencing lately. Overall, I think it’s a great value for the money because it’s effective and smells great.
