5.0 out of 5 stars Great card if you can get it at a normal price.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } It was really hard to find a card near MSRP that random nut jobs didn't buyout then start a fly by night Bolo store to mark up by 50%. This card works great for its price and although i would have loved the next higher level, I was unwilling to pay $2000usd for an $900 card. Very well made card and love that it comes with a little jack stand to take pressure off the board while mounting as it is both beefy and heavy.
5.0 out of 5 stars great card -- if you can get it at a good price
Wow! Got it for close to MSRP! Only $80 over. Sure beats the usual $150+ MSRP overage. Chews thru AI like a beast. Sure, it is not a 5090 nor 4090 but for us poorer folk, it suffices.Price fluctuates too much to count on any good deals though.
4.0 out of 5 stars Impressive jump from 3080
I upgraded from a 3080 10gb. I expected a jump in performance, to be sure, but I'm rather blown away but just how big a jump it has been. Additionally, I expected to hate Frame Gen but, while it certainly has its quarks, so far it has worked fairly well for me leading to an even bigger perceived jump in performance. It is reasonably sized and should fit in most cases easily. It is moderately close to base MSRP though it *should* be at base MSRP imo. The techpowerup review listed it as being very noisy, but that has not been my experience as it is markedly quieter than my 3080 was. It overclocks extremely well; I'm currently rock stable at +400 core.5900x/64gb ddr4 3200
5.0 out of 5 stars Pwn n00bs
Upgrade from my 2080ti of 6 years. Frames are great and temps stable. Great card so far! Recommend!
1.0 out of 5 stars Bad, very bad, but previous gen.
Not good, you pay 3x as much for less than 1~10% improvement over previous generation, if you are using a 10-15 yo gpu and need an upgrade look at amd Radeon 6600 or 7600. Ai frame generation is not “fake frames”, but it’s the next closest thing to a scam.
5.0 out of 5 stars Better than I was expecting
I've seen reviews of past MSI Ventus cards that criticize them for cheap build quality, low cooling performance and loud operation. The build quality of the Ventus 5070 ti, seems absolutely fine to me and about what I'd expect from an entry level AIB manufactured graphics card. Plastic fan shroud, metal backplate, basic fans, 2.5 slot design, large blow-through area, heat sink makes good contact with the memory modules and VRM. My only real critisism is that I'd have liked to see thermal pads between the back of the memory chips and the backplate, but that said, memory temperatures are quite cool as it is. This is by far the best value RTX 5070 ti for sale right now. At least it's somewhat close to Nvidia's MSRP. If you need a new graphics card in early 2025, waiting around for this card to come back in stock is one of your best values right now, otherwise just wait until availability improves (assuming tariffs don't raise the price by another 25%+).
5.0 out of 5 stars Louder but cheap
Works as expected. Got it for 830 through Bolo. For the price it's great as it peforms exactly like other 950$+ 5070tis. Only detail is this is a 4 heat pipe design with below avg fin density so it does get hot and louder than average but not to a degree it's annoying.
2.0 out of 5 stars Good card, no major complaints
Updating this on 4/17:Nvidia can't seem to produce stable drivers. I've had 3 crashes in as many hours of gameplay. MSI has done an ok job with this card but I can't recommend buying Nvidia until they fix this. The fans aren't silent but they're tolerable. There's almost no coil whine on my card. I think this is worth getting if you want a 5070ti and can get this close enough to MSRP but would absolutely not be worth $900+.
