Very minimalist and chic.It is made in Monaco !I love the scent, it is a bit woodsy , masculine ,sporty , earthy , fresh , just delicious.. Within two minutes of hubby lathering up, my whole bedroom smells heavenly.He says that the Shower gel lathers up well , leaves him feel clean and energized , ready to take on the day .I can still smell the lovely scent in his hair when he returns.The scent is strong in the shower , it smells luxurious and makes hubby happy, and I couldn’t be happier to have found a new scent we both enjoy . No worry , as soon as the lather is off the scent that remains is like a dried down EDT.P.S. Psst , I tried it too , it leaves my skin clean, my senses refreshed , two tiny pea sized drops in a pouf is enough.

For those who don't know what Oud is ... it is a rare substance made by the resin of certain trees. It is a commonly used ingredient in many Middle Eastern perfumes and incense ... but usually very expensive. An ounce of real Oud is worth more than an ounce of gold.Many companies are putting Oud scents into their colognes in order to give it a luxury feel. However, in most cases with mass produced scents, the Oud is synthetic due to how rare and expensive the natural ingredient is.Coolwater is a scent that most of us wore in high school and college. It was kind of a light clone of Creed's Green Irish Tweed. I do like the original scent better than this because most Oud colognes have a more feminine note to them.The top notes on this are sweet and aquatic ... it smells for a few seconds like an ocean-scented shampoo. After a few seconds, the Oud notes come out adding a layer of smoky incence and light roses. In my opinion, the marine/green layer does not mix well with the smoky Oud layer. Never woukd I have thought of adding Oud to Coolwater.The benefit of this mish mash of scents is you have something that smells like literally nothing else out there. Whether that's a good thing ... I am not sure.This lathers fine and seems to do a good job of washing men's hair. I use a styling cream and after using this to wash my hair, no product remains afterward. The scent is strong and fills the shower with it ... but thankfully, it does not linger in my hair afterwards.Overall, the value of this is not great. At thirty bucks for 5 ounces, you are paying six bucks an ounce, which seems like a lot for shampoo. I am sure they will come out with a set of this and the cologne soon. If you like this scent, stock up because my guess is that its a special edition which will probably not sell well. The scents of Coolwater and Oud just don't seem like a good match to me. While I like this ... I probably wouldn't buy it. I hope my pictures and honest review, after actually using this product were helpful to your shopping.

I ordered the men's cologne and this is the perfect companion for it. The body wash smells just like it, so if you like the cologne, then you'll love this. It might make the cologne redundant since you already end up smelling like it when you step out of the shower. I suppose it would make the cologne last longer since you probably end up using less of it if you use both for your shower routine. The wash can be used for body or face and offers a good lather and doesn't leave a filmy feeling like a traditional soap bar does. So if you like Davidoff fragrances and body washes, you'll love this one. 5 stars!

My husband says this is "Good Stuff!....especially when he takes a shower and then puts on the matching cologne!" This gel creates a good lather and you don't need much! It can be used as a body wash as well as a hair wash and will leave you feeling revitalized and fresh. The Oud is a sweet woodsy smell that is just right!

This body wash provides a great smell that is exact to the cologne! It is refreshing and masculine, making it a wonderful body wash. As a shower gel, it does exactly as one would expect. It is very cleansing with a nice lather. It leaves skin feeling soft and clean.The downsides to this product: First, it did not come sealed, which maybe it was just a mistake with the one I received, but for 5 stars, it is important for me to have the reassurance it has not been tampered with. Second: the scent from the body wash does not stay long after the shower. It is still a good product, but I would expect a bit more from a name-brand company.Overall, this is a nice body wash with a good scent. Not long lasting, but it does make for a pleasant and clean shower.

The Davidoff Cool Elixir shower gel is hands down the very best! The quality is good and it works great! The packaging is totally on point and it's a piece of cake to use! I really like that it can be used on body and hair too! I think it's great that it creates a rich lather and leaves skin feeling fresh and revitalized as well! Plus it has a fresh woody scent with notes of rose oxide, lavandin, and oud accord! Overall I give this product two great big thumbs way up and would definitely recommend it!

This shower gel has a scent that I really like. A little bit goes a long way. The smell of the gel lingers on my skin but isn't a strong scent. It doesn't make my skin feel dry. I feel this is a good value for a great smelling shower gel. It would make a nice gift along with the cologne.
