Just what I expect from a Cliff Bar. When I'm on the trail, sometimes I need a boost, and this hits the spot. A sweet bar that tastes great, gives me energy, but with the benefit of caffeine. In the past, there was a caffeinated Cliff bars, but they disappeared a few years back. So glad they came up with these. Also glad to see them on Bolo, as I wasn't able to find them locally.

Only 25mg per bar. Not enough to keep you going. Had to follow with a beverage because they were very dry... Might as well just drink an energy drink instead.

I am so glad these finally became available as I’ve been wanting to buy them for such a long time. (Well, since I knew of them, which was when the Clif account page had announced they would be releasing new flavors).I am excited and can’t wait to try them. I’ve been looking for more options of protein and these bars have been very helpful to me. Most protein drinks contain milk and lactase, and many proteins use peanut butter as the number one base or peanuts, at least, and I had an allergy panel come back high for those…And the low protein and weight has caused low energy and fatigue and I’m hoping the flavors are great, and encourage me to enjoy them and get the nutrients they offer, while also not inducing symptoms. Plus the boost of energy would be nice!I’ve mostly just got caffeine from chocolate and soda in the past, never been a coffee fan. So I am unsure how the caffeine these contains compares to the caffeine in say, like a can of Pepsi?I hope Clif continues to make more flavors and thinks outside the box for more people who struggle to find sources of protein due to allergens or sensitivities. Plus they’re delicious!
