First off, it doesn't seem to have any of the original Cool Water DNA in it but I would still label this as a blue fragrance. It's a sweet-blue that resembles colognes such as Dylan Blue or Polo 67. It opens up smelling like sweet hard candy and then settles into a nice sweet lavender. I like that it's not really a floral note, but instead almost like a sweet nectar, similar to smelling just the center of a flower but really it's not a discernable floral note if you're worried about that. In the base notes you get a nice lingering oud that gives it a touch of masculinity but it's very pleasant, it comes off almost as a light, smokey woodiness but it's defiantly oud. Whereas Dylan Blue has this gummy bear scent in it to me, the sweetness of Cool Elixir is quite different, and mixed with the lavender it's almost as if you mixed Dylan Blue with YSL Y.While you could wear this daily, it comes off as this sweet, seductive, aromatic cologne that would invite someone to draw in close to you. To me, this would be more of a movie night, date night kind of scent and boy does it last! I sprayed it on at noon and at 9pm I could still smell it on me so you're probably looking at 8-10 hours with this one on a nice, warm evening. If you love sweet blues but don't like that they usually do not last more than a couple hours, defiantly try this out, it's sure to be a complement getter, and it lasts a really long time.

This is a very appealing masculine scent perfect throughout the year, day or night. It is strong without being overbearing, with a sillage that sits around an arm's length with a single spray. The scent itself is refreshing, invoking a "cool" sensation. It does not smell harsh or synthetic, but rather like a masculine woody-floral. This could easily be an everyday fragrance or for special occasions.The presentation is decent and simple. For me, the cap is certainly secure as I have to fight to pull it off, but it clicks when I place it back on, so I know it is meant to be on tight. The atomizer is pretty standard as it delivers a localized spray of fragrance that is neither too much or too little product.Overall, this is a very nice fragrance that would make a great gift or addition to a collection!

Davidoff cool water Elixir is a strong, sweet, masculine fragrance. Its perfect for a man who wants to be noticed and stand out. Packaging is really cool and nice just like previous versions. But the perfume itself is really different from older versions. Its a great gift for oud lovers. It begins with strong and sweet. Oud, notes that soon become floral with addition of sweet lavender. It lingers and stays with slight woodsy touch and has a longevity of about 6 hrs. So you dnt need to spray it again and again. Its a great scent at an good price and I would definitely recommend it.

It’s no surprise that the makers of the iconic Cool Water cologne have managed to make another fantastic fresh, clean, but woody and spicy masculine scent. This fragrance is bold and strong and lasts hours on the skin, evolving over time.. It strikes me as a sexy, confident, sophisticated smell perfect for date nights or parties. Reading the notes, I was considering whether this could be pulled of as a unisex scent, but smelling it in person, it is definitely masculine. More of a fall and winter fragrance than spring and summer.

This is a good quality fragrance, it goes on pretty strong so you don’t need a lot of sprays to be noticeable. It also last a decent amount of time, about six hours- which makes this reasonably priced. It is a bold scent though, it burns my eyes if I spray too much. It’s well blended, I think as no particular note is overpowering and over I would describe this a a fresh scent but nothing special- it smells like a typical men’s cologne to me.

Is good but not amazing
It's a bit stark for my taste at the beginning and you dint really know what to smell but after a few hours it's gonna be slightly sweet and u can smell the "oud". Im pretty happy that I bought 100 ml but not really sure yet if it's premium stuff. Cool water was legendary and I hope this elixir one jumps the fence on that one
