I've tried MANY cleansing balms that wouldn't completely dissolve, therefore, wasting product down the drain. This product is more of a thick Vaseline, with a slight menthol scent and action (which i really liked). It dissolved all of my makeup, including waterproof mascara and eyeliner. It did not bother my eyes. It did not make my face greasy even after applying my usual nighttime routine (and I have a very oily t-zone). After washing my face felt moisturized, not tight. Do yourself a favor and try this. You won't regret it. I'll be back for more.

LOVE this product! It’s become part of my two-step, holy grail, cleansing routine. It effortlessly melts off your makeup, even waterproof mascara! It does leave your face feeling very oily after… not a bad thing, since this is just step one. I come in with a different product (Babor Refining Enzyme & Vitamin C Cleanser) to really get my face and pores clean and clear and remove the residue from Versed. I used to use Erno Laszlo cleansing oil as my step one but Versed is a far superior product - bold claim!!! I’ve used Laszlo for decades but Versed is better, cheaper and a more thorough cleanser. Highly recommend! Their moisturizer is good too. I have a few that are better but they’re in a very different price range lol… for the price, you would be hard pressed to beat this product! You only need those higher end products into your mid 40s+ so if you’re young, you’ll especially love Versed!

I like the way the product works. It takes off makeup and mascara well and leaves sking feeling smooth. However that scent! It is too much. Once I have used all this product I will look for an alternative without the smell.
