I wanted some fold out lounge chairs for the deck and if we ever go to the lake or something. I have 2 different styles now and this is the lightest and most portable of the two! I love the colors. The shade on it is a new thing for me, but it can definitely come in handy if you want to protect your face, read, play on your phone etc. It can really only be used when the back is completely flat, otherwise it comes down way too far for you to sit up on. I am 5'6 and 155lb and it fits me just fine. Honestly, someone wider might feel annoyed if their arms fall off the sides or they touch the metal of the legs too much. It does seem more narrow than I would have expected. It is pretty durable. I sat up in for almost an hour moving all around as my stepson tossed a volleyball back and forth with me from the pool. It doesn't have anything that clamps it together when it is closed, but the handles are placed to where it holds it together as you carry it. That being said, the handle on the side where the canopy is should have been placed better or made longer as the canopy takes up hand space. As long as you're not carrying to for brutally long distances I think it'll be ok with how lightweight it is. I'm happy with the purchase either way for myself!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This beach chair is super easy to use and seems sturdy enough! I like that the canopy comes almost all the way down to cover your face while leaving plenty of room for air to circulate or for reading a book. It is light and packs up small enough to fit easily in the trunk. The fabric is smooth and comfortable, and I love that it didn't require assembly, so it's ready to go out of the box! I'm not a fan of the mustard yellow color, but the aqua of the frame matches my outdoor set perfectly, and it will be easy to see on the beach.

This chair was a disappointment, to say the least. It is so short! I'm 5'10" and my feet landed right at the end of the pole. It also says it's "heavy duty" and will hold up to 300 lbs, but there's no way that's true. I weigh about 150 lbs. and it felt like this chair was going to fall apart underneath me. It wobbled when I was getting on and wobbled when I was getting off. The gold and blue color scheme, while a bit unique looking in the pictures, is actually very ugly in person. It was also already stained in several places when we took it out of the packaging; a couple of those looked like grease stains (They aren't easy to see in the photo, but they are very obvious in person. In the photo the grease stains are in the middle of the chair, between the two blue side bars). It seems to stain easily, because when my 3 year old climbed up on it, the small amount of dirt from having hard wood floors transferred from her foot onto the bottom of the chair and it was not easily removed. My 3 year old did enjoy it though. If you want it for a child, then that should be who they market this for, otherwise I would not recommend this chair.

This is a very cute lounge chair. I didn't really look at the measurements on the listing, so it was a little smaller than I expected. I am a plus sized lady and still fit on this chair with no problem. The mesh is thick, well made, and smooth on my skin. The metal frame was also made well. The canopy is perfect for shading only my face while I am reading my book or scrolling on my phone. The colors of this chair are vibrant. The mesh and canopy are a darker yellow and with paired with the teal of the frame are very festive! These look great on my deck, and I've found some cute outdoor decor to tie those colors into my decor. I have used this chair daily, I weigh 200lbs, and it's held up well so far.
