She is typically breast fed, but we want to always have a back up for the just in case. After testing, we had noticed she was not having any reactions to soy that her mother had consumed like she was with milk protein, and she absolutely despised the alimentum powder that we had tried before. This formula was appropriately priced, and we did not find anything discouraging about the taste either. So, we figured we would give it a try.Unfortunately, it appears as though our kiddo does also have an intolerance to soy when directly consumed. So, after her first meal of it. We could no longer continue using. She did however, appear to like the taste, and it was easy to put together and mixed well. It did not have an incredibly strong odor, or come across as unappealing.If she did not end up having the intolerance. I imagine we would continue to use the formula as our back up.

My baby has lots of spit-up and gets very colicky. I thought it would be a good idea to see if a different formula might help. After trying this formula, I can say my baby likely just has acid reflux, though this formula did help slightly with the frequency of spit-up. I also found out switching to soy formula can sometimes lead to constipation, and was that evident! It was a struggle the few days we were using it!Otherwise, this was a nice formula. The formula is a very hydrated formula. Even packing the scoop, we had air pockets in it, so I'm not sure how accurate the proportions were. The slits on the bottom of the scoop were also very unique. The formula also smells quite strongly of oil. My baby wasn't a huge fan of the taste, though they did finish the can.

This formula is perfect if your little one abstains from cow milk for dietary or ethical reasons. It is balanced nutrition at a competitive price from a trusted brand. I’d go for the multipack for a better value. My little one did fine on it. No potty changes. I recommend it!

We use the Dr. Brown's bottles, so the "brand" was familiar.Have tried plant-based formula in the past and baby refused to eat it, so I was initially worried.Upon opening the can, there was no off-putting scent, and the color of the formula was still off-white, while the other plant-based formulas were darker in color.I did mix this 50-50 with the other formula. (I always do a blend as a transition whether it be with breast milk, whole milk, or trying a new formula).Usually baby will spit it out and refuse to drink any if not liking it.She did not seem to fuss about taste. and I have not tried it, nor the other formulas to comment on taste.so, my only conclusion is that if baby tolerates the taste and it is healthy, then this is a win for everyone.

I wish I could love it. First of all, this can is pretty big size for the price which is very valuable. Unfortunately the ingredients are packed with corn syrup and sunflower seed oil...which I don't recommend it to any baby or toddler.

I am a big fan of Dr Brown products so I was excited to give this a try for my little one when we found out about her milk intolerance. I switched her right away and after a few days I noticed her symptoms improving. She started spitting up less and was less gassy and therefore less fussy all the time.The formula itself can take some effort to blend well. This is my first lactose free formula so I don’t know how that compares to others with similar ingredients. Just like any formula, using a formula pitcher seems to be the easiest way I found to mix it well.Overall, I’m very happy with the results of this formula. I’m happy to keep my business with a brand I love and my baby is more comfortable.
