What am I reviewing?I am reviewing Vagisil’s Daily Itch Protect CrèmeCommon sense.Common sense dictates that advice from a healthcare professional surrounding the root issue and this as a possible remedy should be sought out to rule out something more serious than just lack of moisture.Describe product presentation?The product arrived within its own retail oriented, unsealed, branded, semi-durable and sturdy rectangular cardstock type packaging. The packaging is attractive, professional, and appropriate. However, I did “not” care for the fact that the package is unsealed; if this had been sealed, then the possibility of the product’s integrity being compromised would have been less, than receiving an unsealed package?Size of the package?About 2” x 6” x 1½” – smaller than imagined.Weight of the package?About (94) grams, which is just under (3½) ounces.Describe what is inside?Inside the retail packaging is the “unsealed” pump bottle of crème.Size of the pump bottle?About 5.275” tall, 1.75” at its widest point, and about 1.125” thick, again, smaller than envisioned – but it’s a cute little pump lotion bottle.Weight of the pump bottle alone?About (84) grams, which is about (3) ounces.Net weight of product inside?(58) grams, which is two (2) ounces.Okay, the package was unsealed, how about the bottle?Unsealed too. That’s a disappointment, I prefer my products be sealed, otherwise, I question the integrity. It’s all about peace of mind and an unsealed product does not give me that.Any issues using on sensitive skin?My sensitive skin had no issues with any negative reaction; I did find this excellent for moisturizing.Does the lotion have a scent?It’s not supposed to, but real or imagined, I think it does.Is it a strong scent?Hmm, I think it more prominent than not.What is its scent?To me, it’s a cold cream/bar of moisturizing bar soap, with hints of a sour/tangy aroma complicated with a slight rose [as in the flower] aroma, again, it’s feint.What could by the sour/tangy aroma?Possibly the lactic acid ingredient.How about the rose aroma?Possibly the phenoxyethanol.Calming action?Ugh, nothing worse than an itch, whether real or imagined, I think the ingredients here, whether immediate or over time, provide a relaxing/calming effect to the offending area.Giftable?Unusual, but yes, however, everything “not” being sealed, might make the recipient think this a hand-me-down, or worse, used, and/or a re-gift.TextureIt’s a creamy crème, it goes on smooth, lighter than heavier, not tacky and not greasy. It took little effort work into my skin.What I likedI thought this to be an excellent moisturizer.Absorbency?Beyond modestly absorbent, I did not have to work it in.What does this have?PhenoxyethanolWhat is this Phenoxyethanol?It’s a preservative that typically is “not” found in [specialty] retail lotions that I purchase; I prefer that my lotions “not” have this. The reader can do their own research. Its biggest concern surrounds sensitive skin.Trust?The bottle noted that this was [physician] tested, there was little more on the bottle and the packaging references scientist developed.Date made?There was no date when this was made, I have no idea how old this product is.Received when?April 2025Date expires?I saw no date when any of this expires; additionally, there was no suggestion surrounding when I should use this by, after opening; which is surprising.Country of origin?The package and bottle had nothing surrounding where this was made and where the ingredients were sourced from, that’s information I prefer to read.Value?I think this offers fair value, even when considering the limited quantity and price, especially since this is from a very famous and trusted brand.Are any of the ingredients certified organic.No.Is this perfect?No.Rating?Based on the totality, I opine this four (4) star at best, I just am not a fan of some of the ingredients, do not like the idea this was not sealed and thought this had too much missing information.I hope my thoughts added a bit of information.

I'm very sensitive to lotions and creams. I did a test on the inside of my wrist and after 8 hours, no rash!! That's a win. Now if it helps with comfort, that will be a win, too.

Great product to use if you're dealing with itchiness or irritation down there. Helps balance pH to bring things back to normal and feels very soothing when applied. This should only be used on the inside so don't actually put anything inside of you.

It's so stressful when I get flare ups and it's just so itchy down there. I am embarrassed having to scratch myself down there, especially in public. This cream is definitely relieving me from getting so itchy. You don't have to apply a lot and it also smells pretty good. It really looks like a bottle of lotion and fits easily in a small backpack or travel bag. It has a nice ergonomic pump similar to the ones you find for makeup. I definitely recommend this if you have an itch down there that you can't seem to relieve.
