Organic Navy Beans
Soak 1 lb of dried navy beans overnight. Rinse and drain. Place beans in a large pot, cover with fresh water, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until tender. Drain and use in your favorite recipes. For best results, cook beans until they are tender but still hold their shape. Store cooked beans in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
