This 100% pure acetone is incredibly effective at removing even the most stubborn gel polish, glitter, and long-wear formulas that regular removers can't touch. You definitely need to use this in a well-ventilated area and follow up with cuticle oil since it's quite drying, but that's expected with pure acetone. I purchased to remove nail polish from a table and lamp, and it worked great, did remove some of the finish but wasn't real noticeable. Regular nail polish remover did not work at all.

Worked quickly to remove non-gel artificial nails without having to file. I wore glue-on fake nails for a stiletto look for a wedding and was worried than taking them off would wreck my natural nails. I tried these and with the help of some aluminum foil, took them clean off without touching when with a file.Trimmed the fake nails down, used a brush (Q-tip works, too) to brush some remover around the edges of my nails and under the tips, moistened (not quite soaking but more than what I would use to remove polish) half of a round cotton pad with remover, placed it on my nail, and wrapped them with some aluminum foil, folding over the top to seal it as much as possible. 5-7 minutes later, the nails either came right off or were disintegrated enough that I could just rub and wipe the remaining bits off.I’ll no longer afraid to use fake nails for some extra glam. Haven’t tried them on gel nails but seems promising.
