I just received Behold the Savior – Advent Bible Study Book for Women and it is even more beautiful and meaningful than I hoped.From the moment I opened it, I could tell this wasn’t just another seasonal study, it feels thoughtfully and prayerfully created to really prepare your heart for the true meaning of Christmas.-The book is organized into 4 weeks of personal study, which is just perfect for the Advent season, especially during a time that can get so busy and overwhelming.- Each week includes guided reflections, activities, and challenges that are both accessible and deeply moving. It’s structured in a way that encourages quiet time with God, even in the hustle of December.- The full-color interior is absolutely stunning and adds a warm, inviting feel to each page. There are also craft ideas and creative prompts sprinkled throughout that bring a hands-on, reflective element to the study. These little additions help tie faith and daily life together in a way that feels so intentional and nourishing.- The study walks you verse-by-verse through Luke 1–2, helping to uncover the rich, familiar truths of the Christmas story in fresh ways. It gently invites you to reflect on the birth of Jesus, the promise of His coming, and what it means for us today as we await His return.- One of the things I appreciate is the included leader guide, it makes this study perfect for gathering with a small group of women, whether at church, in your home, or even virtually. It really encourages meaningful community and fellowship, which is such a gift during the Christmas season.That said, you absolutely don’t need a church group or formal setting to enjoy and benefit from this study. It’s just as meaningful to walk through it on your own or with a loved one. I actually plan to go through it with my husband, and I’m hopeful that he’ll be just as encouraged and inspired by the truths it shares.If you're looking for a way to slow down, center your heart, and reflect deeply during Advent, I truly recommend this book. It's not just a study, it's a soulful experience. I’m genuinely looking forward to walking through it in the weeks ahead.

I am really looking forward to completing this advent bible study this Christmas season! I like that it’s pretty simple and straightforward as I find that certain bible studies can become too complicated or hard to follow. I really appreciate the intentional slowing down and focus on the Christmas story because while we know Jesus is the reason for the season (and I’m sure if you’re looking at this advent book you probably know the Christmas story well - and if not, then this is a great place to start), it’s also so easy to get wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of everything else the Christmas season has going on and rush through some of the most important parts.A couple other side notes: I like that the book includes a craft idea at the end of each week, and having the option to do this bible study as a group is a good perk, too. I attend a faith based moms group and I feel like this would be a great fit for a group like that.The physical quality of the book itself is pretty average. Not horrible, but not superb for what you pay ($16.99). I think the design is beautiful, but the edges of the cover do get bent up pretty easily. Overall, I would recommend this advent bible study!

So I was expecting the normal advent Christmas devotional. However, this is a legit Bible study with group discussion questions. If you lead a small group or want to do a deeper study to connect at Christmas, this would be perfect. I was surprised at the depth of the questions and the readings. It’s a nice book and easy to read. The sections are broken down nicely and this would be useful to do as a group.

The content feels both encouraging and grounded in biblical truth, making it a great companion during the Advent season.It’s a beautifully written guide that helps shift focus back to faith and the meaning of the season. I’d gladly recommend it to anyone looking to grow spiritually during the holidays.

This advent devotional is lovely. I haven’t worked through it yet, as I’m waiting for the Christmas season to enjoy it. I did leaf through every page, though! I love that the scripture needed for the day is printed in the book. That makes it easy to do a devotional on the go because you don’t have to bring your entire Bible in addition to the devo. I love that a group of 16 women contributed to the creation of this book. I really enjoy the activity ideas and inspirations for things to do to help the communities you’re a part of. The only minor downside is the edges of the cover on my copy are a little beat up.5 stars for the well thought out and printed content - 0.25 for roughed edges = 4.75 Stars
