I decided to give them a go, initially i only got one to try it out, it was great but only Mono sound, so i ordered a second one immediately to pair them for stereo sound. The difference between one versus 2 speakers is significant, i am extremely pleased with the sound, bass, no distortion even when louder volumes are played on bass heavy music. I have both of them plugged into the iMac, just need to do some cable management, thats all. I cannot think of a better compact speakers stereo sound solution for iMac/desktop and even laptop. I would totally recommend these Bose soundlink home speakers!

Easy to use and as always a great Bose sound with nice balance of bass, treble and mid range from the product. The size is compact and easy to move. An overall great product value at a reasonable price point.

Easy set up and battery charged in about 2.1/2 hrs. Note the charging cord is a USB C to USB A! So I had to use a USB A to USB C dongle to use one of the USB C ports on my MacBook A M4 charging plug. Why not USB C to USB C? Otherwise you need a charging plug with a USB A outlet (not included in box). Or buy a separate USB C to USB C cable. That aside, the sound is very good with a rich bass, but so it should be at the price!!

Great sound. Love the size. Blue tooth syncs immediately. Provides a lot of entertainment in small groups when trying to pull up favorite songs instantly on Apple Music or Bolo, etc. I've had other SoundLink versions that were good also but were unfortunately stolen. Grrrr!!! . This is my third version of small Bose portables and I liked all of them but this one suits me best now. Easily fits in back pack or suit case for travel also.

These speakers have the same bluetooth latency as most run of the mill bluetooth speakers, making them unsuitable for use with video, a must-have for me. The speakers look great and have a larger sound than can be expected from their size. Yet the sound is no better than my Soundcore Motion + speakers, which include low-latency support, are waterproof, and cost less than half. I did not test the Bose stereo paring, an area where the Motion + has problems.

Incredible sound reproduction
This immediately became my go-to speaker when working outdoors. It weighs a ton, perfect for weighing down lightweight things that ordinarily blow away. It’s very intuitive to operate, and pairing was simple, with the speaker identifying itself as Bose. Sound quality is phenomenal, even outdoors, with no distortion or crackling at the highest volume. The battery lasted me all day until supper, which was about 8 hours of steady use.I wouldn’t typically consider a wireless speaker in this price range, but the audio is beyond anything I’ve ever owned, and the quality is definitely worth the price in this case.
Nice Speaker
This is a beautiful portable speaker and I'm looking forward to getting lots of use out of it especially in our yard this summer.My speaker came with a small booklet of instructions at the bottom of the box. I initially ignored these and found the speaker easy to pair with my cellphone. It really works the same as any Bluetooth speaker - it went immediately into pairing mode, and it popped up in Bluetooth on my phone. One tap and I was connected and able to play music. I was able to control volume using the buttons on my phone.I did review the instructions later and found they also included how to change the language (not something I needed, but useful for some, I'm sure).Though I didn't see this in the instructions, I looked in the Apple App Store for the Bose app. I wondered if I could do more to control my speaker than just changing the volume using the app. There was an app, but it didn't do much.To make a long troubleshooting story short, I actually ended up calling Bose support too see if I could get some help. Ultimately, we determined that this particular speaker does not have additional settings available via the app. The only additional option is to connect to another Soundlink Home to use them as stereo speakers.If you want to customize your sound experience, such as with an equalizer, you need to use the built in Music playback app that you are using from your phone.The sound provided by the speaker is rich and deep. The unit itself is sleek, a brushed silver body with a light grey fabric. Very classy looking. It's very simple to charge with the included USB-C cable. I do think that the port is a bit oddly situated on the side of the unit - it would be better hidden on the back or the bottom (where the gap is), but overall it looks great.This is a high quality portable sound experience, and I would recommend it.
