I don’t know why people are shocked this isn’t actually real leather, considering the price. I have purchased several different but like versions of this set, and the materials in this set are much thicker and leather-like than the others. I did have to shorten the straps a bit (I’m F, 5’3”, 130). I did eventually end up going with a different set that had a double pauldron of lesser quality because it slipped down too frequently, but I think if I were bigger it wouldn’t have been as much of an issue.

Overall price, look and quality is good. Pretty straightforward for put it on (ease of use).The fit is not as described (works for small to average people): I had to add a few holes to the belt and chest piece need a strap extender.

I appreciate the quality of the shoulder pauldron. All of the items are a little on the smaller side, so this would work well for a small to average sized person, but not a larger person. The pouch and belt are a bit cheaply made and don't really fit with the coloring of the rest of the pieces. Also, it's not really a hood, it's just a long hemmed piece of fabric. Decent quality for a quick cosplay. I'm actually using most of the pieces for a steampunk situation, and with some modifications they are looking decent enough.

O. M. G. If you're wondering if this set is worth your time, wonder no longer. This is an awesome set of leather armor for your Renaissance Faire, Celtic Festival, LARP Game, DND Campaign, or Cosplay needs. It appears to be a really good quality leather that perfectly bridges the rigidity needed for an armor look and the softness needed to conform to the wearer. Its sturdy too! Its a decent universal fit (it fits well on both my 5'5" 21yo daughter and my 5'9" 18yo son, despite their very different builds). Its comfortable to wear, looks great, and is pretty easy to put on on your own (ie no extra hands needed for buckles in odd-to-reach places). Such a worthy grab!

This is a really great cosplay set. These pieces can be used for so many different characters across fandoms. The material is sturdy and durable. It is very clearly sized for a tall man, but it will be easy to add a hole to the belts to make it fit a smaller frame. I love that you have a useable pouch that closes securely so you can put your phone and wallet in it. I wish the cloak was actually a cloak and not just a piece of fabric that you have to style, but everything else is so great I didn’t take any stars away.

Bracers have fake buckles and are bolted on not glued. Feels like leather and bendable. Edges are smooth and sealed. Comes with lacing that feels water resistant.The belt is flexible. The buckle has a pattern and seems to be sturdy metal. The leather like material fits fine in the buckle. The end will need to be tucked in at the waist after buckling.The hood is just a big flat piece of thin cheesecloth. Feels cheap - not soft. There's enough to wrap around your head and shoulders. Edges are unfinished.The stag pin is very cheap looking and lightweight.The sword holder fits on the belt well. All parts are bolted together and seem secure.The pauldron is the same construction as the other parts. You'll need a helping hand to put it on. Quite a lot of adjustments. Not for a small person.Overall nice kit. Well made. Made for a larger person with a flat chest.

This is a nice set of accessories to enhance your faire outfit. The fake leather components look convincingly like leather and are sturdy. The overall set takes a basic faire outfit and takes it to the next level. Great addition to the costume chest.
