This knife set is truly a showstopper! The white handles paired with the rose gold mirror finish on the blades give off a luxurious, modern aesthetic that instantly upgraded the look of my kitchen. These would make a perfect gift — they’re both functional and beautiful.The knives themselves are sharp, well-balanced, and labeled with their purpose, which is a helpful touch. They feel sturdy and comfortable in the hand, and the included sharpening stone is a great addition. It’s nice to be able to maintain the blades without needing an electric sharpener.That said, the knife block does leave a bit to be desired. It's made of black plastic with a wood-style top that helps visually, but the knives don’t sit perfectly flush, and the block holds them nearly straight up. If you store your block under cabinets, you’ll likely have to pull it out to access the larger knives. Also, the drawer for the sharpening stone is a bit finicky and doesn’t close smoothly.Lastly, while they are advertised as dishwasher safe, the included instructions advise against dishwashing and even mention rust removal tips — something to keep in mind.Overall, I’m very happy with this set. The knives themselves are fantastic, and the look is elegant and unique. I just wish the block matched the quality of the knives. Still, for the price, it’s a solid buy.
