We've all been thereβyou approach the washing machine with a full basket of clothes only to discover someone left a load in the drum. Sometimes you put your basket on the floor, but let's face it, sometimes it's easier to put it on top of the washer. Well, if you'd prefer putting it on top every time, and you don't want to risk scratches to its finish, just get these mats. The flexible silicon mats are easy to use. Just unpackage them and put them in place.These are well made, and they look good when in use. If you spill any detergent or supplies, they are easy to clean. The size was exactly as advertised and it fit the top of our new washing machine well.Just a note on use: although the pictures show decorations and other items sitting on top of the appliances, be sure to check your documentation. Ours recommends against placing or storing anything on top of the washer. I believe this is due to the likelihood that vibrations, especially during the spin cycle, may cause items to "walk" off the edge of the washer. Theoretically, these silicone mats should help prevent that from happening, as the silicone surface provides more grip and friction than the painted metal top. For me, I'm just glad to have these in place to help avoid scratches and to ease cleaning.They are a good value for their asking price. I expect these mats to last as long as the washer.

Wow! I'm really impressed with these washer and dryer toppers. I've looked at many different brands before I settled on this one. Although the lip to hold in spills is probably only about a quarter inch high, I really like whatever material these are made out of. I expected it to have some sort of weird smell when I open the package and it did not! It smells nice. I also like the design where the ridges across the top are kind of wavy instead of in straight lines. It just makes a simple, useful, product a tiny bit more interesting and attractive. I was also worried that such a large item might be kind of heavy or unwieldy, but the material it's made of is light and flexible. This will be easy to use easy to get on and off to clean! I'm really glad that these are the ones I got! I also want to mention that there are many products that are built like a shelf to go across the washer and dryer. In my case, the washer and dryer are different heights and have a gap between them. It was important that I get two separate top covers that are not in any way connected. So this two pack was a really great deal! Some of the others only came in a pack of one.

When I opened this up I realized they were high quality as it was a very heavy package.The silicone material laid flat easily, and we have a washing machine that is so loud I nicknamed it Rambo because it sounds like him firing off a machine gun on spin cycle so with the pad on top of that it cut down a lot of the The High Frequency chatter.And I was originally going to build a removable wood counter just over the washer dryer that would have to be lifted off of the machines and use rubber feet to dampen the machines, and have a counter space, but this looks much better and it's much easier.I like the fancy surface design too...that keeps it interesting and not plain.And there is a ridge so if there's any spillage it would stay on the pad so you could lift the pad off and go rinse it outside with the hose instead of wiping a machine down forever and ever when it gets soapy.And I just love the dark gray...it matches our machines so well.And if you treat silicone right it'll last forever, so I am considering this is my forever pads.
