I’ve used other brands in the past and bought Wolfbox for the first time due to the over the mirror install style. Since then I’ve put one in every car that I own. The video is always as good or better than that of other dash cams from competitors, and the price is always very competitive. I recently tried a competitors brand that was highly recommended on a 3rd party site, and it worked, but had a lot of quirky performance like randomly taking pictures without hitting a button to request it to do so. Also, there was no bumps or vibrations which may have been interpreted as an impact. I’ve not seen that behavior with my Wolfbox cameras. The one time I did have an issue, I reached out to customer service and they immediately rectified the issue. I’m happy to have found this brand and I hope they continue to make high quality products and have great customer service.

This “WOLFBOX X5 New 3 Channel 4K HDR Dash Cam, STARVIS 2 IMX678,4K+2.5K+1080P Front and Rear Inside Car Camera with 128GB Card, Voice Control, 5.8GHz WiFi GPS, Touch Screen, Digital Signal, Support 512GB” is basically everything you would want in a “dashcam”; you get 4K high resolution front, and relatively high resolution 2.5K for rear, and you get 1080P for inside the car (if you are doing uber/lyft or if you want to check on your teenage kids etc..). This unit even has built-in GPS, so locations/directions/speeds etc.. are all recorded. This unit also includes voice control and touch screen. This unit is not “always on” unless you wired it that way. It comes with a 128GB card which will support loop recording and already hold quite a bit as it is; while if you want more, you can get a 512GB card and stuff it in.All in all, this is a great dashcam, easy to use, feature packed, really all you want; the only issue is that it is definitely “not cheap”. Yet, you get what you pay for, and the price here is pretty fair, for what you are getting.Thank you for reading this review, I hope that this review is helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

The camera looks great, I love the voice control feature and the video quality looks great just 1 major issue that's off-putting... The first camera I received powered on for 2 seconds then would never power on again no matter which cord I used. I contacted Wolfbox and they sent me a replacement. I installed the camera & tucked the wires behind my interior trim, powered the camera on and it loaded then froze. Rebooted and reset the camera several times and it still keeps freezing. I contacted tech support and they said maybe the SD card is bad so I tried a 256 GB card I have and same thing. They told me they are going to send me out a new card and suggested if I have a smaller SD card that I could try then do so. I found a 32 Gig card and installed it, same darn thing! Once I get the new SD card from them, I will update to let ya'll know how it goes. I don't have hope because the SD cards work fine in my Wolfbox i07 dash cam. I think the issue is the camera. If the new card give the same issue then I hope they will refund my money not send a different X5 since there is obviously a firmware issue with them.I forgot to note, the camera stay on and "works" fine without the SD card, once the SD card is installed (even after reformatting the card) the camera freezes.

Installation is not possible with supplied cables, just too short.Also rear view cable is too thick to be concealed.Not sure how one can expect it to be under windshield without damage.Not recommended to buyBad app,
