The difference in performance is like night and day. I use it primarily in the basement, which has always been prone to dampness and musty odors, especially in humid weather.Right out of the box, this unit was easy to set up and got to work quickly. Within hours, the basement felt significantly drier and fresher. It’s much quieter than my old model, and more efficient too—I’m emptying the tank less often, and it still manages to pull an impressive amount of moisture from the air.The modern features like auto shut-off, humidity control, and the option for continuous drainage make it super convenient. I bought this for my RV. Took the moisture to normal fast. Best thing I ever purchased for comfort. Quiet operation, you wouldnt think it could work as well as it does.

Working great now for over a month. I'm using this for my basement to help with humidity which was over 75% before I installed it. Now it's at 51%, keeps the humidity level perfect, the air much cleaner and doesn't have the mold smell that we had. Great value for the money, build quality is good, easy to move around, has a relatively short drain tube but is fine for my application. It's quiet but the ease of use was why I only gave 4 stars, instructions are not clear on how to setup for different features. Settled on the first setting for humidity and set the level to 50. I like the display on the front to show the current humidity, which you can see from across the room.

This dehumidifier is a basement lifesaver! Cools 5000 sq ft easily, pulling 80 pints daily. The 6.5L tank holds plenty, and the 24H timer/auto shut-off are brilliant. Silent too! No more mold worries.
