I needed to upgrade my flowering tent from 2x2 to 4x4. The specs on this unit matched those of another unnamed manufacturer at about 1/3 the cost. The tent surprised me showing up the next day so I set it up with the old TS2000. Happy surprise, SZHLUX PT4000 LED Grow Light showed up a week early! Setup was easy, just slide shades onto the ends and hang it up. It's very lightweight and puts out a lot of light. The only negative is the lack of clarity and poor quality of the English Language timer and programming instructions. This doesn't harm my system, but I would like to better understand these features which might be of benefit to my operation.

This light works very well! It has a timer you can set to turn & off on whatever times you need. And it has 3 settings.... Full spectrum with all 10 lights on, with only 7 lights on, & only 5 lights on. Started my grow 2 weeks ago & couldn't be happier.

Haven’t had a full run yet as I just received light on Saturday. When I first plugged it in, nothing. I packed it up and later figured out I left the power cord out, so I opened up again & thought why not? I plugged it in again and lo and behold it powered up. The instructions that comes with light sucks! Thankfully another person bought same light and figured it out and posted a how to video on Bolo review section. Yes it’s dimmable but not in the same way we’re used to. The light comes with digital timer and a temperature probe you plug in light & let it hang right above canopy. This is how you dim light by your temp control? I know confusing but I’ll get it figured out. Shoutout to YouTuber BudRush auto for recommending. He grows monsters with this light. I’m ready to buy my next one.

Not very happy. Part of one bar doesn’t work. When adjusting the brightness 0 is brighter than 100. At 20 both settings turn lights off. 70 is more what I would think 50 would be. Unit went together quickly. Definitely use 2 people to hang due to size. As this is the 1st review for this light, thinking 1st shipment. I was looking to order another light due the size of my tent. I emailed the company directly guess I’ll update on the results. Honestly a bad product does happen, would hate to ship this back due to size and I’m at 60 days. Hope my plants don’t suffer. Definitely not a happy grower. Purchased this vs more well known companies. Was willing to take the chance after reading about all the features.Update. Was told a new light bar would be shipped. Nothing was sent. Sent email on 4/26. Received an email back stating “ We're sorry for the problem, send me your address please, we'll send a light bar from our factory.” 4/28. When asking about the dimmer switch I was told “ You can ask many cannabis growers in FACEBOOK GROUP "SZHLUX Lighting", there're many growers like you.”. 5/4. So if the manufacturer can’t help I’m not sure I have any faith in the company especially if they want other growers to address a quality problem. As of today I have not received any warranty support for 2 quality issues. I would recommend ordering from a different company. Look at other reviews for other lights they sell. Wish this would have been corrected. Now I have to ship it back and hope my plants don’t get all screwed and get light damage.

I currently have this set up in a 5x5. I'm using it two grow some tropical Bonsai Trees during colder months. In the past 2 weeks my Trees have received more new growth that they have in the last 6 months next to a south facing window. The leaves are greener, the Trunk looks fuller. It is in a controlled environment where the temperature stays at around 80-82°F and RH around 40-50%. Im leaving the light on 16 hours a day. But if your wondering if this will do better than a south facing window. Then answer I yes. I also have watermelon, Jalapeño and cantaloupe around the edges of the tent and they love it.

These lights are a little flimsy, however for less than 200 I’m not gonna complain about 400w of juice! I’ve bought another two after the first arrived… edit.. after first harvest.. these lights perform very well. They are really only good to flower a 4x4 area. The LED timer light stays on so I cover it with tape. If these last even new a few years then I'll be more than satisfied.

I would like to have received the grow lights that I ordered. I ordered that lights for the timer. I like the light and the brand seems well built but am very unhappy that it doesn't have a timer or tempature controller.
