I have a hammer toe that puts a lot of pressure on the bone under the malformed toe, causing calluses to form that are very painful. I have tried lots of insoles, calus Tx, etc. These little pads have worked the best. They're about 1/8" thick, sticky on one side to attact to the foot, underneath and behind the toes, open side pointing forward. Place it back far enough so that the open part otf the pad is directly under the bent toe, slightly behind where the calluses form. The pad supports the area around the pressure point. They stay put until you remove them. I found that by using common double sided tape to reapply them, they can be reused the next day provided you don't get them wet

These are the best pads for my corn that I have ever used. They stay in place and are extremely soft and comfortable. They are also very thick but comfortable.

The cushioning is good, but when the pad is removed from the foot, the adhesive separates from the pad and remains on the foot. The adhesive then has to be peeled from the foot.

The padding depth was fine, and as stated in the description on Bolo. I had to return because with the first set I used, the felt separated from the adhesive when I went to change to a clean one. The adhesive stuck to my foot and it was difficult and painful to remove.As for cushioning, I have severe neuropathy from a damaged nerve along with a drop foot from the same surgery that caused the permanent nerve pain (25 years now). My uneven gait has caused major painful calluses on the outer part of the ball of my feet. nothing has been successful at minimizing them and I don't want to have them surgically removed. The shape and depth of this style of pad works well for me as I can place them so the callus is under the open part. I use two with the openings on the pad opposite each other forming a sort of oval opening so the callus doesn't touch my shoe when I walk or stand. It makes a huge difference for me and helps to keep the nerves from flaring up.This product is more economical than some others, but the quality is inferior in my opinion. I recommend the shape but I can't recommend this brand. Another brand I used has adhered well on my foot and comes off easily when I'm ready to change.
