I'm no eco warrior but over the past several months I have been attempting to make small changes around my home to make cleaning more friendly to the environment and my family. I use laundry sheets, bleach tabs concentrated cleaners in refillable glass bottles, etc... but one giant plastic bottle I couldn't get away from was my dish soap. I decided to give these dish soap bars a try and was pleasantly surprised by their ease of use, light scent, and effectiveness! I'm very particular with smells (especially with dish soap as I don't want the fragrance to stick to stuff I eat off of) but it's very light and seems to dissipate by the time they're dried and put away. To me, they seem just as effective at cleaning and degreasing as my old Ajax soap and has not irritated my sensitive skin.

After nearly a month of daily use (for a 2-person household), I’m only halfway through the first bar.Things to keep in mind:It works best if you keep it on a well-draining soap dish. I'm honestly surprised at how much I've enjoyed this! I ’m really impressed with this dish bar soap, it’s effective, long-lasting, and completely plastic-free. The light lemon scent is fresh without lingering on dishes, and it cuts through grease just as well as my old liquid soap. I also love that it’s gentle on my hands and made from simple, plant-based ingredients. With a good draining soap dish, it stays firm and lasts a long time. This is an easy, sustainable swap for any kitchen. I do think it's a bit pricey, but these bars seem to last forever so keep that in mind.

This is dish soap. I didn't read the product details carefully which is my fault. In any case, I did try this soap out on some dishes today. It worked reasonably well. It wasn't bad at all and has a great smell. The thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars is that I have this dawn foaming dish soap in a spray bottle. For hard stuck on stuff I just spray a little of that and let it sit for a few mins and it cleans up super easy. This soap doesn't do quite as well, and it's more effort to use because it has to be manually scrubbed into a dishcloth. It's just more work but the outcome isn't different than normal dish soap.

I ordered this dishwashing bar soap from TIERALIA to try out when we go camping. We’re not roughing it, we have a trailer, but reducing our carbon footprint is still important to us, as well as not having a bunch of bulky plastic containers cluttering things up. I’ve tried bar shampoo with meh results. Just want to say – this product is AWESOME! It handled “regular” washing of plates, glasses, and silverware with no problem. It also worked perfectly on an oily fry pan. I did a little bit of sudsing while filling the sink, but for the most part soaped up the dish cloth while washing, easy peasy! I was impressed by how it cleaned and it didn’t leave any residue, which also makes it perfect for wiping down the counter. It has a very pleasant lemony scent, but the scent doesn’t linger on the dishes. TIERFALIA’s mission statement, in part, states that they want to “provid[e] affordable and sustainable cleaning products that are safe in your home and the environment.” Their site explains their origins, and to put it in a nutshell, this is a Black/Latinx-owned company that is dedicated to providing quality products that are sustainably produced and used. These things are important to us, so I’m pleased to be able to say this is a great product! I will definitely order this again, for use not just while camping but in our home as well.

This was a great choice for our camping kitchen - no messy spills to worry about! The lovely lemon scent pairs well with the sweet smells of nature. The eco friendly aspect of this product is a huge selling point for our family as we are trying to impress our children with the need to decrease our carbon footprint whenever possible in order to preserve out beautiful planet for future generations. The soap does a great job on lathering up and cutting through sticky marshmallows covered skewers as well as cleaning up some messy pans used over a campfire. I recommend this product!
