Being in New York City, sometimes they’re not allowed to deliver items like this. So I was surprised when I was able to order it and shipped to my home. It does look pretty realistic so I would caution people about playing with this outside and in real life.It is easy enough to use, although you do have to manually load the magazine and then manually load the magazine into your gun and then also pull back the slide every time that you want to Fire. So it’s just not a point shoot repeatedly kind of thing.These little foam bullets definitely have power behind them and this thing easily fires like 20 feet. And easily ricochets off of things as well. I would caution anyone shooting this at friends or family members because it may ping them pretty nicely.The foam bullets are smaller than the cartridges that you place them in which I thought might affect the functioning of this, but it definitely does not. It comes with two magazines, a bunch of plastic cartridges, and a lot of foam bullets. Have to also load the phone board into every cartridge yourself.I would also caution having this around little children because the foam bullets could be a choking hazard.This is very nice for me I am a very good shot and enjoy practicing shooting targets in my house. I just have to pick up all the little rubber bullets and find them as well as sometimes they do ricochet.

This is simply an awesome toy. What you get for the price is fantastic, and it reminds me of the types of toy guns you could find growing up in the '90s. You're not going to find something this cool and interesting on the shelf at Target, and for such a good price.In my case, my son is not yet old enough to even play with this, but I couldn't resist trying it, and now I'll have a couple more years to "test it" when I'm feeling bored and want to shoot some paper targets in the basement. It's good enough quality that it will still be totally functional by then.They give you a bunch of shells and bullets, and a whole extra block of bullets, assuming you may lose some along the way. (You probably will.) That being said, I have a pro tip for you: buy a little UV flashlight here on Bolo. If you can't find the little bullets, shine the UV flashlight across the floor in the dark. The neon orange tips of the bullets light up extremely brightly, and then you can't miss them.Something I experienced, is that one of the magazine clips (you get two) had the inner spring component installed backward, so the shells wouldn't load properly. If you run across this, don't worry: you can simply slide the bottom of the clip off, pull the spring mechanism out, and reinsert it in the correct direction, then slide the bottom back on. A simple mistake, but a simple solution.Also, if you plan on using this outside, I recommend using the orange muzzle attachment that's included, so there aren't any scares or accidents. It's pretty convincing looking from a distance, so having that on there while outdoors will mitigate anyone mistaking it for a real firearm. You can easily remove it again for indoors play if you want.Overall, this is an outstanding toy that is inexpensive, and fun for children and adults alike. Treat yourself to a little fun!

This was kind of an impulse purchase I was pleasantly surprised with. It is not exactly a high performance dart gun like something you'd get from Nerf. The projectiles are small, and don't shoot particularly hard. But where this excels is the mechanics. You load the rounds into a magazine, and charge it just like a real pistol. The neatest part being that it even ejects the spent casings just like the real thing. It would be a great tool for education as well.

I like shooting this at things inside the house. I don't think that I would take it outside the house, because it looks too real. That's a good thing if you want to use it for a prop in a play, I guess, but you wouldn't want to be seen outside with this - someone's going to think it's real, and that's a problem. The foam projectiles fly about 30 feet or so before they fall to the ground, which is far enough for use inside the house. It's fun that you put the bullets inside of copper-colored casings, and load them into magazines. The mags are loaded into the handle, just like the real thing, with a mag release button and everything. Racking the slide ejects the "spent" casing, and loads a new cartridge. It's fun. Use it to teach your kids to never point it at another person - that's a joke that's never funny.

I ordered this for my great grandson who’s 10. He loves play guns like the leading brand name soft foam bullet guns. I decided to get him this one for his birthday and he loves it! I am not sure his mom loves finding all the bullets but he loves this thing! It is well made and looks realistic. The bullets are foam and the casing that the foam bullet goes into is very well made and the casing ejects just like a real gun when you pull the trigger. This is such a unique toy! Highly recommend.
