No aftertaste or bloating. It packs 25g of protein per serving. Great as a meal replacement or post workout supplement. I am deducting one star because at $59 it is pricy.

I have been having this protein powder regularly and enjoy the flavor. It is sweet but not overly sweet. Also, the powder does not clump up and mixes well in water and milk. I have also used it in chia pudding. The bag is resealable so I did not have to transfer it to a container. The bag comes with its own scoop. I only use only full scoop. This did not give me any digestion issues or bloating either. I feel full after having a smoothie with this protein powder for sure. No odd smells at all. It also fulfills are decent bit of my protein intake requirements.

The Good:* This mixes well with both water and milk* The ingredient list isn't overly long and contains much fewer questionable ingredients than other brands* It is sweet, but not overly so as long as you mix it with sufficient liquidThe Meh:* A little more expensive than other brands, including big names ($60 for 20 servings at time of review, 24g Protein/serving)* The taste is obviously vanilla, but it's kind of weak, even without an overabundance of liquid when mixing. From the smell you'd think the flavor would be much stronger. With milk is better than with water.The Bad:* Nothing bad, just the Meh aboveThe Verdict:Recommend in general, it's just too bad that so many supplements are getting so expensive. I've been trying and using this kind of stuff for a long time, and it really seems like they all just decided to slowly start increasing to see what the market would accept. It's not inflation, it's just more expensive because we all collectively accept it.That said, solid product that would work well with fruit or a banana or nut butter. The flavor would probably be better overall as part of something rather than on its own.

So this is a blended protein, it has casein and whey protein concentrate. This would be better for a meal replacement or night time protein shake, not immediately after a workout because the casein is very slow digesting. However it does have green tea extract so that makes it not as ideal for a night time protein shake. The taste is pretty good for a vanilla protein, though it does have sucralose in it which new proteins should really start using non artificial sweeteners like allulose, stevia, or Monk fruit. It is manufactured in the USA which is a big plus.

It's easy to get a chocolate protein shake that tastes great because chocolate is such a strong taste. But many vanilla protein shakes taste a bit funky. This Freak Shake Vanilla, though, tastes clean and fresh, no strange aftertaste. It mixes up easily. Note that there is green tea extract added, for an extra kick.

I like the product - multiple protein types. It is presented like its some super product for gaining muscle and increasing endurance. Per the labeling - it really kind of looks just like a couple protein sources, sucralose, and some herbals I'm not familiar with. I'm not entirely convinced it has the advertised effect. And the real kicker for me is the cost. At three dollars per serving, I just can't justify a strong endorsement. The taste is good, it mixes well, but for that price it better make me grow overnight...but it doesn't.

We love this Freak Shake vanilla protein powder. Its fine powder texture makes it very easy to mix and dissolve in water or milk using just a spoon to stir. The vanilla flavor tastes great to us, though it is a little on the sweet side. I love that each serving packs a good amount of protein with essential vitamins and antioxidants. This was our go-to protein powder to drink at the end of each day during our ski vacation. It helped make our muscle sores go away a little quicker than usual.

Four stars and here is why, I love that it contains 25g of protein in a scoop with no sugar and only 2 carbs per serving, that is a definite win! I also like that it has green tea extract, which is high in antioxidants, promotes heart & brain health, good for the skin and helps with exercise performance and recovery. Now as for the flavor, it is definitely your typical vanilla protein shake flavor, but super sweet to me, but that said I only eat minimally processed foods and no sugar, so everything tastes super sweet to me. I've used this twice, first time just with unsweetened nut milk and the second time, I used it as a meal replacement and added fresh berries, chia seeds and a few other things, both were good. I would recommend this as it is a clean source of protein with no sugar.
