The media could not be loaded. After using their C6 for a while and loving it, I wanted to try their new C8 because it had extra features the C6 didn't have. I'm happy to report that this controller is just as good, and in some ways better, but some may prefer the C6 instead.The first thing I noticed when getting this controller was how different it felt. The C6 has a textured plastic with a micro texture print in the hand grip area, but the C8 is as smooth as glass. If you get sweaty hands, this controller might end up being really slippery for you. I don't get sweaty hands so this controller works fine for me, but as someone who likes the feeling of textures, I do prefer the C6 for this. I don't know why I didn't realize it would be smooth considering the case is clear, but I was too focused on the extra features that this controller has over the C6.The main features that pulled me in was the charge dock, the LEDs, and the programmable buttons. For me, I think that's worth the extra cost over the C6. The dock makes it easy to charge and creates a space for the controller to live on my desk instead of getting tossed around and lost somewhere. The LEDs look cool but they're nothing special. I'm a fan of having RGB on stuff but functionally, they don't really do anything and I can understand some people don't like it. You can choose to make it do a color cycle or have it a solid or pulsing color of your choice, or turn them off if you don't like it. The programmable function buttons are really what drew me to want the C8 though. Having programmable buttons is a really nice and useful addition over the C6. You can use it to record button presses in sequence and it'll play that sequence out at the same timing as you pressing it, so for example, you can perform a combo in a fighting game, save it to one of the programmable buttons, and it'll play out that combo with the exact timing as how you did it when you recorded it, with just a single button press. It's my favorite feature of this controller over the C6. The feeling of the programmable button is pretty good too, very clicky, and the placement is okay. Easy to reach with your thumbs, but having it be thumb buttons means you'll have to take your thumbs off the face buttons or the analog sticks, which isn't as good as rear paddle buttons like other controllers.The other feature the C8 has over the C6 is the removeable analog sticks. It comes with 2 longer ones, but I like the stock short ones, which is the same height as ones on the C6. The fact that they are removeable on the C8 is nice for those who prefer longer sticks though. The bumper buttons are a bit more solid than the C6 too. The faceplate on the C8 is magnetic and removeable, but I don't think Abxylute is selling alternative faceplates yet. I personally wouldn't pay for cosmetics like that, and the clear is nice enough IMO. They advertise the face buttons as micro switch, which I'm not sure is supposed to be different from the C6, but they feel exactly the same to me, which is fine. I was satisfied with the buttons on the C6. There's a definite confirm pressure level and it's not mushy at all. There's a space to store the dongle in the controller and on the bottom side of the dock, which is nice so you never lose it... but honestly, I just leave the dongle plugged into my PC at all times. It has the same turbo features as the C6, the same vibration customizability as the C6 too, but there are a few features the C8 has over the C6 that I didn't know about before getting it.First, it has more PC connectivity options, which changes how the PC sees the controller. You can connect it as Xinput like the C6, but you can also connect it in "PC Switch" mode, which makes it see it as a Switch pro controller, or Dinput more, which makes your PC see it as a gamepad. You can also change the ABXY layout between Xbox and Switch if you get your A B X Y placement confused. You can swap the left analog and Dpad input so that the PC reads the Dpad when you use the analog and vise versa. You can change the analog margin to be circle or square which can help with diagonal input on some games as I understand it, but I haven't had the need to do that yet.That's all I found that were extra on the C8 over the C6. Of course, both use hall effect joysticks, which are the best analog sticks. Abxylute aren't the only ones that have hall effect joysticks, but it's an important selling point. If you don't know about it, go watch a video on it, but basically, the joysticks will never drift, but you may need to recalibrate them if they start to drift. But yeah, overall the C8 is a great controller for the price and has a lot of nice features over the basic C6, especially the programmable macro buttons, but I can see some people may want to get the C6 for the different texture and cheaper price. Both are good controllers to get and well worth their respective price.I made a product hype video to go with my review just for fun. I need more practice making nice videos.

Such a cool controller!! I recently bought the abxylute C8 wireless gaming controller, and it's been a fantastic addition to my gaming setup. The controller is lightweight and comfortable, making it easy to hold during long gaming sessions. The Hall Effect joysticks and triggers provide precise control, and I appreciate the adjustable vibration settings that enhance the gaming experience. The included docking station is also a convenient feature for charging. Overall, the abxylute C8 offers excellent performance and value for its price.

I got this controller to pair with my ROG Ally and I am super happy with the performance. It maps easily as an Xbox style controller in Steam. The buttons feel great the shoulder buttons are nice and clicky and the triggers feel smooth and precise for racing games. The sticks are great and it even came with longer sticks if you so choose to use them. I was happy with the short sticks out of the box. The charge dock is compact and fits well on my desk and is very aesthetically pleasing. The subtle glow while charging was nice as well. The lighting and functions are easy to navigate and the 2.4ghz dongle is very responsive. The only thing I would improve is the texture of the controller. The smooth finish is really nice but could benefit from a subtle texture or grip. Overall this controller feels great in hand for my medium to large sized hands.This controller will be my daily driver for the foreseeable future.

We purchased one of these back in April and liked it enough to purchase another one. Husband travels for work and recently got back into playing games so one controller stays at home (in case I decide to play 😊) and the other goes with him. Connects with Bluetooth or the dongle which is what he wanted. The dock works great, not to mention looks cute too!It's well built and feels solid. The buttons are very smooth and don't require a lot of force like on other controllers. It's also pretty quiet. This one feels and plays more like an Xbox controller.Would definitely recommend!

The controller looks good, is heavy and looks pretty premium, I had a problem with the connection because I was connecting this to the USB 3.2, for some reason that cause compatibility issues and errors, now in a USB 3.0 I can feel the controller answering perfectly without any problems.For other side I would have liked the D-Pad were smaller and easier to press, also a little lower right buttons; I feel like they are too big and tall.

Amazing controller! I have been a huge Xbox fan and have loved their remotes. I recently sold my Xbox to get a gaming pc but needed a controller. Found this one and it has been fantastic! Feels just like my old Xbox remote, not heavy but not light either just the right weight. Buttons feel great and joysticks are smooth. It comes with a base that also lets you plug in the dongle so you’re not taking up 2 ports AND it lights up so it looks amazing. All in all an amazing controller and as an added benefit it wont break the bank.

Does not wirelessly connect. Can only use it with a cable. I tried plugging the receiver in all 8 different usb ports on my computer. It still won’t connect.
