it's not sour for too long. I can see how people find this hard but for me its no problem. It felt like a regular gumball.

Most of the flavors taste like chemicals, though I sort of expected that for the novelty of having "extra sour" gum. Unfortunately, it wasn't really even mildly sour. They were hard and I was too nervous about my kids breaking a tooth to continue letting them eat them.

This Cry Baby Extra Sour Bubble Gum is great for sour lovers, with a pleasant tartness that never gets too extreme. The gum itself tastes fresh and has a soft chew that keeps a good texture. As a minor complaint, the gum loses flavor and becomes bitter more quickly than I expected, lasting about 10 minutes of active chewing. This is fine for most people, but if you are using gum chewing as a method to avoid snacking or smoking then it it something to keep in mind.Each gumball is individually wrapped to maintain freshness and so they are also a great option for a candy dish, party bags, or to hand out on Halloween. Overall, if you like sour it is a fun gumball.

It is pretty decent when it works. It is a light to medium amount of sour, and the flavors are decent for the most part. For the most part it works and the gum taste doesn't last too long as you would expect, but I held no expectations there.Some of them seem old, so there are a few super hard ones and then mostly soft ones. The soft ones are the better experience because then you can immediately chew into it. The hard ones need a little bit of work, but hard enough to be an issue to just immediately bite into. In addition, I felt some of the wrappers were already open or just not fully closed, making some outside stuff sticky and creating less preservation.As for the taste, there are some that are good flavors, but once in a while I get this flavor that just isn't that great.Overall, this resulted in an inconsistent and unreliable experience, but I still eat them once in a while as there is some good there.

I do love cry babies, but these ones seem like they have been sitting out for a while. They are very hard and for some reason sticky in the package. Besides that, it still tastes like regular cry babies.

I haven't had Cry Baby gum since I was a kid, but I have fond memories of a intense sour-coated exterior with a delightfully sweet, chewy center. Yeah, I had high hopes of revisiting these... What a disaster.FIrst, the exterior sour coating was a moist, 'sticky', layer — not what I recalled, but I popped it in my mouth nonetheless. The sour was enjoyable and lived up to the memory, but then I tried — TRIED — to chomp into the gum to release the sweetness... Let's just say I'd have better luck chewing thru cement.The gumball was so stale and old that I immediate looked for a date, certain to find that they were years past their prime. Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to locate a date.So, while I wanted to enjoy a trip down memory lane, I think instead I need a trip to the dentist. Granted, a fresh batch of Cry Baby Gum may still be delicious, however if this stale, hardened abomination is the quality expected from this particular seller, I'd avoid them like the plague.

Sadly the gums were sitting for a little too long. I usually like the Dubble Bubble gums but these were not it. The bag itself it big and has a ton of gums and has variety of different flavors but I would probably purchase some other one in store and avoid this online as it did not seem like the right taste. Something felt off and I would just blame the poor quality control of it sitting out for too long.
