This patch provides an extra secure attachment for the G7 and definitely comes in handy during summer water sports. Removal requires generous use of a product like Uni Solve. However, that inconvenience doesn't outweigh the knowledge of a secure sensor in my opinion.

These have been working great for my Stelo CGM that I'm using with Oura. It fits perfectly and it stays on well. I don't totally trust the basic sticky pad that comes with the Stelo, although I've heard it's fine for most people. I like having this extra layer over that, especially since the Stelo/Dexcom one is smaller and I have a hard time getting it on smoothly without folding it or getting wrinkles.

These appear to be the same as the ones send by medical supply company. Haven't used yet. Brought them as a back because some med supply covers come off and need to replaced.
Best Dexcom G7 adhesive patch
This patch is easily the best I've tried for Dexcom G7 CGM. The adhesive is the strongest with no loosening over 10 days despite rigorous activity in high heat and humidity as well as regular swimming. The fabric edges don't fray like with some other brands. The application system is the easiest I've tried with the clever folded backing tape. I use this patch in addition to a GripShield with great results.
