These things did not work as well as I had hoped. The ANC does technically work, but not that well. The microphone doesn't work well and they sound hollow overall. Not a fan. I've tried to lie to these Chinese headphones and a lot of them are crap, but there are actually some good ones. Unfortunately, these weren't one of them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional headphones for the price!

At the time of writing, this pair of headphones costs $49.99, and with the 40% coupon offered on the product page, it really costs $29.99. Although I got this pair for free, I am very critical of headphones, as I already own three pairs and an earbud ranging from $50 to $300. Let me tell you. For $50, this pair is exceptional. For $30, this is a steal.First, how does it fit? Quite nice actually. It is comfortable with a noticeable clamping force, which I like because it won't fall off or move when you are running, dancing, or when you lie down. It is completely over the ear, so your ears won't scream in pain after hours of continuous wear. I actually prefer the fit of this pair over that of the Soundcore Space Q45, as it is more secure. How does it look? I think the pictures speak for themselves. It is very minimalistic, sleek, and modern. Basically the whole thing is plastic, which is expected, but it feels sturdy while still being light. It comes with a carrying pouch, which would prevent scratches but probably not hard falls. Now, most importantly, how does it sound? When I judge the sound quality of ANC headphones, I judge them with ANC on. This pair sounds quite good. Yes, the bass is boosted just like all commercial headphones on the market today. It isn't overpowering though, so even an audiophile like me can enjoy these, and it doesn't sound muddy either. Does it sound as good as the Soundcore Space Q45 or the Bose QC45? Almost and no, respectively. It comes quite close to the Soundcore Space Q45, but the soundstage lacks just a bit, especially the details found in the higher frequencies. It does not have the instrument separation that the Bose QC45 can give you, and I prefer the Bose QC45 more than others would because it has more of a neutral sound. However, don't misunderstand this by thinking the King Lucky B900 sounds bad. It does not sound bad at all. I actually enjoyed listening to music with this pair and was pleasantly surprised. I think you would too. Now, how is the ANC? This was actually quite surprising. I'll first start off by saying that you cannot expect a $50 pair to have as good of an ANC as a $100+ pair and definitely not as good as a $300 pair. First off, these headphones have better passive noise cancellation than the Soundcore Space Q45, and comes close to the Bose QC45. However, these do not do as good of a job as the Soundcore Space Q45 in blocking out the low rumble with ANC, and the Soundcore Space Q45 does a better overall job at noise cancellation. You can also expect the Bose QC45 to blow these out of the water in overall noise cancellation performance. However, there is one area that the King Lucky B900 outperformed both the Soundcore Space Q45 and, very surprisingly, the Bose QC45. That would be the high frequencies. I have an ultrasonic cleaner on my desk, and I could not hear the sonication sound at all with the King Lucky B900, but I could hear a very faint sound with the Bose QC45 and a quiet but still noticeable sound with the Soundcore Space Q45. However, most everyday life noises are on the lower side, so don't expect this pair to block out the noise as much as the other two. It still definitely works though. It could honestly be as good as the Sony WH-CH720N, because I was a little disappointed with the ANC on the Sony WH-CH720N when I tried it.Transparency mode works too. It definitely amplifies the sound of your surroundings. I really don't use transparency mode ever with any pair of headphones, so I won't talk about it.The battery lasts long. I always have ANC on, and it still lasts a good while. I didn't test their claim but I think it's true because I didn't have to charge these for a while after getting them out of the box.I found that the bass on the normal or transparency mode is considerably louder than on ANC. I guess if you really like bass, you can turn off ANC, although the bass is sufficient with ANC on.One minor thing that I would like to see improvement on is the sound of the voice for power and mode changes. When I turned these on for the first time, the "power on" and "connected" voices sounded so bad that I thought these would sound horrible, which they don't. Also, some sounds have a noticeable Chinese accent to it. Making everything like the "ANC on" and "ANC off" sound would be good, and improve the voice quality from that. Obviously, this does not affect the sound of what you are playing, so practically speaking, this does not matter. Also, everytime you power on the headphones, the default mode is normal mode, even if you had ANC on during your last session. Since I only use headphones with ANC on, I have to press the mode button twice after I turn this pair on every time. I would like for this pair to turn on with whatever mode the last session was in just like most other headphones. This is also just a minor complaint.Overall, the King Lucky B900 sounds pretty good and is great for the price. If you're thinking about getting it, you won't regret it after you get it.
