6/8/25 update... the latches are starting to simply not stay closed & I almost lost my car keys... changed it out so we'll see how long next one holds up.

no way! don't even think about it. get yourself to another page ASAP.how can you make a lousy key chain?! i thought these'd be handy somehow. couldn't imagine it, but it's just a key ring. was sure they;'d be fine.nope.the ring is slightly too thick, so the keys don't swing loosely. and the shape (like a snow man) makes matters far worse.at the gym (and in mountain climbing) much larger ones are useful because they can be switched very fast. but no one needs to switch the keys on their ring every few minutes.the keys are usually stuck sticking out, all in different directions. and since our front door is a bit deep into the frame, it takes some wrestling with the keys to be able to actually turn the key ring and clear the frame. my previous key ring worked because the ring was small enough, keys effortlessly dangled parallel to the key going in the lock. there is no way to do that with this design. you have to move each individual key, every half turn of the lock.
