Great quality wood and a fairly easy install. I installed into a narrow brick wall above my fireplace. I can't imagine a harder surface to attach this too. It took a little work to get it flat enough to work with the attaching bracket, but got it to work and it looks great. It's quality solid wood pieces at a price better than similar pieces.

I love this. It is made of wood and it looks so nice hanging above my fireplace. I would recommend this to anybody in search of a mantle. It was easy to install and it was just what I was looking for the color is beautiful. The size is perfect and the price is right
