My husband had to wear a bandage and soft cast on his hand for several weeks following hand surgery. Keeping it dry was a challenge during showers, so I ordered this item for him and it worked perfectly. It easily fits over his hand and covers the cast, which extends several inches beyond his wrist. It is watertight and he was also able to use that hand for lathering and rinsing which he could not do without it. It has made showering a non-issue while he is wearing the cast. It is well worth the money.

Product is 10/10!! Perfect product for shower use after finger surgery. Easy to use - First time use I had assistance, but 2nd time using, I did single handed (used my non-dominant hand as surgery was on my dominant). The opening had good stretch and loved how secure it was after product was in place. No leaks or tears - kept moisture out. The lining feels durable and soft. I could still grip items as needed. I feel this could be used to help with light dish washing/cleaning tasks too though I would place higher up on my arm so the liner doesn't get in the way

Update: at the 3 week mark the glove tore at the seam. I am keeping the rating at 5 stars though because I wore it a LOT over the 3 weeks to do anything and everything involving water and cleaning dishes by hand. For $10 I think it held up well for 3 weeks of consistent use. Will be ordering another to have available when the next unfortunate mishap occurs and this is needed.This waterproof glove, more of a mitten, is absolutely fantastic!! I had an unfortunate run in with my mandoline vegetable slicer. The slicer won. I ended up at urgent care and told not to let my finger and bandaging get wet for at least 2 to 3 weeks. I thought how in the world is this going to work. I wash dishes, need to shower, bathe a toddler.... this glove saved the day! The material is durable. I was worried that while washing dishes I may tear or puncture it. It has held up great! It has also worked perfectly while taking a shower and giving my toddler a bath. This item has been a lifesaver! The tight part around the arm is a perfect tightness and functions well at keeping water out. I think every home needs one of these to have on standy for whenever you get a cut to the hand you don't want to get wet but still hwve go on living life, doing dishes, taking showers, etc.

Works wonderfully!Very durable, use for 6 weeks over wrist cast.Never leaked. Thumb slot wasn't quite in the best spot, so I just put whole hand in one area.

Perfect for post carpal tunnel surgery. Everything stayed perfectly dry. My only issue is the hole is tight and I did need someone else to hold it open to put over my hand.
