This is my new favorite toy. Gotta say it heats very well. I honestly thought it was a bit bigger but even when I put a lot of soap base in it, it melts perfectly fine. Can’t complain 😍

Like the wax. If you're looking for a complete kit then this isn't it as you'll have to get the wax separately. However, if you have wax or you don't mind that it doesn't come with it, then this is a good little kit. It comes with a hot plate, a small pouring pot, a thermometer, stirring spoon, and a silicone pad to set it on. My thermometer didn't actually work, so that's another draw back.However, the main reason I got this was for the hot pot and pouring pot itself and in THAT it's exactly what I wanted. If you're looking for something that can help you make a bit batch at once then this probably isn't for you as it's a fairly small pouring pot, but if you want to make a couple candles then this is great. I've used it a couple of times now and each time as worked flawlessly. I love the addition of the silicone mat for when it's hot so I have a place to set it.If you're just wanting the hot pot and pouring pot then this is a good kit for the price, but if you want something more complete then you might wanna look around a bit more.

I've been using the water in the pot method for years. This takes half the time! Maybe even less. It's so fast! It does smoke initially, but it burns off pretty fast.The only down size is that it's pretty small. But I love the thermometer they sent, big numbers, easy to read! Sent a cooling pad, which the pot seems to stick to a bit, and a little spoon for stirring. I would buy again!I read thru so many reviews before buying this one. I just make wax melts for family, so this is great.

I just started candle making. This was super easy to learn and thermometer gives accurate readings which is so important. For the price with the entire kit really is great. The pitcher is a tad bit on the smaller side but it functions perfectly for making a few candles.
