First you dont have to go through such a difficult process of connecting to your phone! It's as simple as plugging in the usb-c port in your phone, pushing the on button for your microphone and you're ready to go! No wired connection needed! It comes in a small case that makes it easy to have it in your pocket ready to go in any situation you need! The sound quality isn't where it could be. It doesn't sound scratchy or anything, but compared to the other ones ive used it can sometimes sound a little scratchy. However if youre looking for something that's gonna record your voice and no one else, this is gonna be worth every penny!

Exceeded my expectations.This was on sale, which is why I purchased it. The sound quality is great. I’m pleased to not hear the AC feedback. My voice comes through clearly- even if my phone is far away.I’m excited to use this so I can function easier on camera.

It actually works! A step up from the past attempt that didn't work at all. Can't say the audio quality is amazing (a little muffled) but it is loud and does seem to mostly just pick up the immediate (you).

I have no idea how this product has any good reviews at all. I’ve tried using one mic, both mics, different settings, different placements…nothing that I can do makes anything other than the most awful audio quality that I’ve ever heard in my life. Like…it sounds intentionally bad. Worse than garbage. I am flabbergasted that this is a product. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever bought. It actively makes audio worse no matter how bad your built-in mic is.

The design is nice, especially the receiver which has two LEDs front and centre which indicate which/how many mics are connected. Super cool - the cheaper mic kits don't have this.The microphones are also good looking, the only drawback is that the clothing clips do not rotate like other microphones do.I tested recording audio from sixty feet away with no issues. I also tested with the mics outside on the front porch with the door shut while the receiver remained inside the house, with good results.Be aware that this mics have noise cancellation turned on by default. You have to press the power button to disable the cancellation. I found that the noise cancellation resulted in poor quality audio (it sounds like the person is speaking from a deep, watery barrel). Turning off the cancellation is no big deal, but you have to do it every time you turn on the microphones.Oh and the tin! It comes in a lovely steel container which is super classy.

Sensitive and Versatile Microphones – Great for Speech, Not Ideal for Singing

PRESENTATION:The TXTUNE Wireless Lavalier Microphone set is nicely presented in a sleek tin, giving it a premium look and feel. Unfortunately, my set arrived with a dent on the tin’s lid (see attached photos), which was disappointing, as the outer packaging was undamaged. This suggests the dent may have been present before it was shipped, which is a quality control issue. That aside, the microphones and accessories inside were in perfect condition and well-organized. Inside the tin, were the two Lavalier microphones, two small crocodile clips for attaching each of the microphones to clothing, the wireless control unit that plugs into your mobile phone, a USB-C charging cable, a small User Manual and a small VIP Membership invitation card.USAGE & FUNCTIONALITY:These microphones are very highly sensitive, picking up even a whispered voice from several inches away, making them perfect for speech-related recordings. With a 360° omnidirectional pickup and effective noise cancellation, they deliver clear and focused audio, ideal for interviews, vlogging, or streaming in busy environments. Setup is effortless, requiring just three simple steps without needing Bluetooth or an app. While excellent for speech, I found them less suitable for karaoke, as the sensitivity doesn’t lend itself well to music or singing, which may demand a different frequency response, I’m not sure, as I’m not that technically minded unfortunately. The dual microphone setup is handy for two-person recordings, and having compatibility for both USB-C and Lightning devices is a real advantage, especially if you use Apple devices, which I do. The little crocodile clips attached to each of the microphones seamlessly, and worked well when clipped onto items of clothing.SUMMARY:The TXTUNE Wireless Lavalier Microphones offer high sensitivity and are excellent for clear, focused speech recordings. While not well-suited for karaoke or singing, they perform brilliantly for interviews and spoken content, which I imagine is what they were actually designed for. Despite the unfortunate dent on the tin, these microphones provide solid value and versatility for vloggers, content creators, and podcasters looking for an easy, reliable setup, and with everything being contained in a small metal tin, it helps to ensure ongoing protection for these little microphones. Recommended for speech-based recording needs!

Good quality sound, easy to use, tin does not work to carry & store unless you keep removing clips

These lavalier mics work well; I used one to write this entire review. But the case that it comes in, although it looks nice, is not practical for carrying or storing the mics unless you keep removing the clips, and I found that frustrating.The set comes with two lavalier mics, a charging cable, a user manual, and the tin that they come in.The lavalier mics, clips, and charging cable come neatly arranged in perfectly cut foam inside the tin. However, I found the tin incredibly hard to open, and then when I finally managed to get it open I saw that the lavalier mics and the clips were laid separately in the tin in their own spaces, and the tin is very narrow with not much height. This means you can't put the lavalier mics back in the tin to carry once you've attached the clips--which you need to do to use them unless you're simply holding them--unless you remove the clips, and who is going to remove the clips every time? Not me. So the tin does not work as a carry or storage case and that's frustrating. The mics also did not come with extra foam heads like some sets do, which would be a nice touch.To use the mics you first put the receiver into your phone with either the type C or the lightning attachment. Since I have an Android phone I used the type C and it worked beautifully. Then you press the power button on the lavalier mic, and both the light on the receiver and on the mic should turn green. That happens very quickly and I was able to then use the mic.There's also a noise cancellation button that you can use if you want to by pressing the button once it's on and the light will flash green. To mute the mic you double click the button and then the light will turn red. I like that it shows red when it's on mute so that you know it's on mute. There were a few small typos in the user guide, such as that they said to turn off the noise cancellation instead of to turn on the noise cancellation, but I figured it out. There was also a solution to common problems and a quick guide at the back showing you how to do each of the functions you might want and what feel like indicators mean.The sound quality is good; my voice sounds like my voice and at a midrange volume, not hugely loud but not too quiet, and I didn't hear any interference or background noise. I've used these to make some videos outside both on a very windy day and on a less windy day. On the very windy day I added a different top, a wind sock I had, and that helped, and they still recorded well.The mics light shows red while charging and turns off once fully charged. I also like that the receiver is not really bulky. They're quick to charge and easy to use.These mics come with 12-months limited warranty which always seems like a good sign to me, and if you register it you get an 18 months warranty.

Great Recording Quality

Delivery and Packaging:This was delivered quickly from Bolo and arrives in a nice metal storage tin, the device being protected in a foam insert inside.Design and Build Quality:The quality is decent. It's all plastic but robust enough. It's not supposed to be a device for use in adverse conditions. The buttons click and the lights light up and flash when they are supposed to and the USB C / Lightning male connectors for the receiver seem to be solid and unlikely to break off.The charging cable is a standard USB C / USB A cable with a plastic coating. No proprietary connections here, thank goodness.There are two crocdile clips that slide onto each microphone and these feel a little cheap but this could be because of their small size and I had no problems with them when in use.The Product in Use:I tried this with my iPhone 16, clicking in the USB C connector and the mic to my lapel. Sound quality was very good and clear. Even after walking into the adjacent room, the microphone still clearly picked up my whispered voice on the microphone.Up close, there was obviously no issues and the recording sounded clear.Compared with the in-built iPhone 16 microphone, which is good, this gave better, rounder and clearer sound. Compared with my desktop microphone for my Mac, I thought it was as good.Conclusion:If you are looking for a lapel clip on microphone for a stream or a one or two person podcast or for recording audio notes or an interview, this could be just what you need.

These are nice quality wireless microphones.Made by TXTUNE, this is a 2 Pack of mini, wireless, lavalier-style microphones. The microphones plug in to either lightning based devices or USB-C devices, so this is perfect for my iPhone and also for my Android devices. The microphones really improve my audio quality for podcasts and also for my social media videos for YouTube, Instagram and other platforms!These lapel microphones also include noise cancellation, and have an easy to use clip-on design to connect to my shirt. Great wireless microphones at a really great price. 5 stars.
