I love how tall it is and the magnet works great! My microwave is above my stove. It will also stick to the underside. Keeps it out of the way if I'm just re-heating my coffee. I don't ever fold it, so I can't comment on that.

This thing is nearly-perfect. The magnets hold securely to the bottom of the microwave making it super convenient and eco friendly to not always use cling wrap for everything. It's easy to clean and I've found it useful that it can expand for taller foods. I only wish the vent holes could be closed/sealed when I want to retain the moisture with the food.

works great , but like others have said too big to fit into my fairly large microwave, so have to keep on top. don't bother flattening it - so can't say that's a great option, too hard to flatten and expand eveytime
