These are as good as any outdoor box I have previously used and they work well. At $8 each with a 10% off coupon available I consider them to be a good deal. I always use stainless steel fasteners, so using the two mounting tabs for fastening works fine. I'm using them on a remodel I currently am working on. I purchased six for that project. Easy to install, reasonably priced, and every bit as good as the name brands.

Installed these two single gang electrical boxes on concrete columns to support light the installation of outdoor light fixtures at the end of my driveway. I was able to install the line, load, and photoelectric sensor due to these gang boxes having openings on all sides and the rear. Used the provided plugs to close the remaining openings not being used. I do wonder if the plug threads seal tight enough to keep out water. Guess time will tell. The eye mounts on the box are much better than the metal tab eyelets found on other types of gang boxes. Material I feel is best for outdoor use as it will not corrode.
