I bought it mostly to bake my bread dough in. And it works great. The high domed lid keeps the dough from sticking to the top, gives the dough that crust I'm looking for and gives it room to grow. And it's so pretty.

I will recommend this alone for decent pricing under 70 dollars though Aldi just sold the same one for 24 dollars. The pricing is still high if you compare to Lodge cast iron but this is easy care enamel cast iron.This makes great bread. You can buy round parchment cake liners for the interior.Have only had success and its a quality item.
