This hooded robe is made out of the standard polyester fabric found in most seasonal Halloween/Costume stores. Based off of the description of the listing, I was expecting a better fabric. With that said, it fits, and for a one-time costume party, this will do. My wife said she may take this apart to use it as a pattern to make one with nicer fabric. The best way to summarize this is that the price reflects the quality of the fabric, and if you keep this in mind when purchasing, you should not be disappointed.

Description says it is made of twill, but this is 100% polyester garbage. See through. Flammable. Fits as intended but won't complement any outfit or costume in a way that doesn't look cheap and hastily thrown together.

The material is thin and breathable, definitely intended for costume wear. The fit was acceptable. I don't know how long it will hold up, but for the price, it works great for a couple of nights of dress-up.

I wasn't sure what to expect given the price of these cloaks, but had to try one. If you squint, they might be worth what you pay for them. The pictures look pretty good, but reality is a bit different. I got the black cloak. In general structure it looks like the cloaks in the picture, though the tie isn't attached to the hood, it's attached further done across the chest. (Not a bad thing, but different.) But the fabric is rough and thin, and the size is certainly not one size fits all. My daughter, who usually wears a medium, tried this men's cloak on, and it fit her reasonably well. If you're an adult male, you have to be on the short and thin side for this cloak to fit you well. (To be fair, even a shorter cloak is cool.... and if you don't care if it wraps all around you or not, then as long as if falls over your shoulders and the hood fits, you're good. This cloak WILL do that.) If you're looking for a cheap cloak to wear once in a while, this is a fine choice. If you want something sturdier, you're going to need to invest a bit more.

For the 10$ price tag, this is a great piece of costume gear. Just make sure you order a large enough one to work for you. When it came out of the package it had a strange smell and had to be washed (ALONE, so it doesn't bleed it's ink on other items), I noticed also the material is fairly thin so it can be a bit translucent. Those quibbles aside, for the price I'm good with it. It's going to go in the cosplay chest for events I'm at.

If you are looking for a costume robe - this one is a good choice. It's inexpensive and looks pretty decent. The robe runs short, but has really long arms. The robe is thin and has a bit of a chemical smell from the bag, so allow enough time to air it out or wash it.The hood is generous and I didn't find too many loose strings. The fit is pretty good except for the sleeves.

You know, I didn't expect much, but boy was I disappointed. When they send you a "robe" with a hood that's way too small, and fabric that looks like it was made to line dirt beds and can be seen through easily? You know you're getting the absolute lowest quality product that a manufacturer can muster. Seriously. Everything about this screams "Lowest Bidder".
