The clips seem strong enough, but they get knocked off so easily if you bump into anything. Clip them inside your pants to help prevent them falling off all the time, and getting scratched up like mine have. Otherwise I think they're counting correctly? I'm assuming... I haven't counted my every step manually along with this.

Works ok , but not good if you have issues and can't walk far for long at a time or stopping a lot, less then 10steps at time (sleep mode thing ? )

I like the display its easy to see. But its Not counting my workout steps which was a major reason I bought it. Doesn't count my steps on the stair master at all. I get on there for 40 minutes and this thing will be on the same exact number from when i started. It sometimes counts my steps on the elliptical. It only counts if you walk forward backward or side ways atleast 10 steps then it updates and counts until you stop. If I march or run in place it ain't counting it. Kind of a waste honestly. I wanted every step to count even when im moving about in my office

Not accurate for dance aerobics

When I was looking at reviews I wanted to know how this worked for dance aerobics. I couldn’t find any reports, so I’m writing this for someone else who might be looking for this information.It is very good at recording straight walking steps. It will NOT record side steps or quick steps, such as in salsa dancing.Before doing aerobic dance, I remove the device from my body and use the step counter that is on the workout program I am doing. I record that number at the end of the session. Then I wear the purchased step counter again.At the end of the day I add both numbers to get a truer record of my steps for the day.It does not act like a Fitbit that records even the smallest steps but it does do what it says it does, which is why I gave it a 4*.
