I really wanted to like this pedometer, but unfortunately it just doesn’t work properly. I’ve gotten this for my elderly mother as she doesn't like wearing smart watches and every day it's given us completely inaccurate step counts. One day, after wearing it all day while cleaning, going up and down stairs, spending all the gardening , it only said she walked 632 steps, which is clearly wrong and the clip design is terrible. It doesn’t sit securely and kept flipping around on our waistband until it finally fell off. This morning i tested it against my smartwatch to compare, and sure enough, the pedometer does not accurately tell the steps, for the price, you can almost get a cheap fitness tracker with an app integration.

I love this pedometer. It truly goes the distance. The clip allows me to wear it discreetly under my clothing all day and not just during a workout. Mine survived a spin in my washer (which I do not recommend). Compared to other types I've used, this model seems to count steps realistically and not when being placed. I bought an extra in case my original purchase gets misplaced. Well worth the money.
